OH MY GOD. WHY DID NORA KEEP ON ADDING MORE AND MORE STUFF, I SERIOUSLY COULDN'T HANDLE ALL OF THAT AT ONCE. THAT WAS TOO MUCH, MY HEART ACTUALLY STARTED RACINGGG. The whole voice change when he called in to say he was coming late to work and then back to us was such an interesting detail that made the audio even more perfect. I loved the part where Nora said „ I'm smiling, because you're smiling. “ it was SOO cute and the part where Nora COMPLETELY did a 180° when he found out we liked him too, was absolutely perfect. The acting was seriously 10/10 and even though at first he was kinda shy about it, it caught me off guard how dominant he got all of a sudden which made me even more flustered. This was super well done and it makes me wonder, if some of the clips had to be redone a couple of times or Nora is just naturally this good at doing what he's doing.
Look who it is, here again to ramble away at the audio once again. First of all, Louise your music is absolutely amazing and it was such an honour to hear it, you have such incredible talent!! Now the audio, ahem, so first of all love the world building here, a lot of brother's best friend trope audios fall into the trap of forgetting to give backstory, they don't give the best friend a name or whatever. You not only gave Jesse a name but also spent the time to build up a picture of memories shared with the listener and how you've interacted up to this point. The way you built up the "were they dating?" And the slow pause with the huh, it said so much in so little especially followed by the "I'm smiling because you're smiling" the relief and barely hidden joy we could hear in that line is such good emotional control. The fact from the minute you asked for the check and we moved location you could feel the tension rising, which was juxtaposed with the steady beat of the clock ticking away, and it just built anticipation until suddenly silence. The sudden silence left us on edge and seamlessly helped transition into the confession. You always drop your tone and slow your speech from your "regular talking voice" as you get into the emotional scenes and it does help you transition between atmospheres and emotion really well. Also side note your phone call portions throughout this were so realistic. The whole audio tbh I was taken aback at the realism, even in how you integrated the trope, it was all very realistic and grounded in what genuinely could and has happened to people irl, the losing touch and reconnecting. The realisation you had a chance all along, the finally putting it all at risk to shoot your shot, it was so hyper realistic it's crazy. You saying "this changed my course of the evening" after the listener says they like you too made me laugh and I love how you clearly showed the characters confusion and frazzled state through their words, action and tone. And the final lines too, allowing the listener time to reassess their thoughts on the character whilst still keeping the tension high and shooting your shot clearly with a kiss, immaculate. And I loved the call back to talking about work in the beginning to you calling in for the day off at the end (also that pause before 'do' lol we see you, get it). So yes this was amazing, that is today's essay sorry it was real long again 😭, thank you so much for this Nora!!!

I don’t normally comment on UA-cam videos, let alone older ones, but this one-and just you in general-is an exception. Before I go into it, your voice. I’m a very audio sensitive person, so when I come across a voice that I genuinely find calming, soothing, and just overall nice, I’m easily hooked. But what really captured me was the quality of this. The writing is just beautiful. It seems so authentic while surreal at the same time. I don’t know if that even makes sense. The sound design, too, is . . . I don’t think I’ve come across many channels that do it, let alone to your caliber. The way you introduced different ambience sounds without it feeling choppy or jarring. How they intensified to charge the moment. And maybe my ears are playing with me, but I thought I heard some audio ducking-lowering and raising the volume again depending if you’re speaking or not. (If there’s none of that, pretend I didn’t say anything.) All this to say, I know you probably won’t read this, but I couldn’t not stop to say something. I thoroughly impressed. So thank you not only for making audios, but for all the effort you put into them. I definitely appreciate you.

OH MY GOD. WHY DID NORA KEEP ON ADDING MORE AND MORE STUFF, I SERIOUSLY COULDN'T HANDLE ALL OF THAT AT ONCE. THAT WAS TOO MUCH, MY HEART ACTUALLY STARTED RACINGGG. The whole voice change when he called in to say he was coming late to work and then back to us was such an interesting detail that made the audio even more perfect. I loved the part where Nora said „ I'm smiling, because you're smiling. “ it was SOO cute and the part where Nora COMPLETELY did a 180° when he found out we liked him too, was absolutely perfect. The acting was seriously 10/10 and even though at first he was kinda shy about it, it caught me off guard how dominant he got all of a sudden which made me even more flustered. This was super well done and it makes me wonder, if some of the clips had to be redone a couple of times or Nora is just naturally this good at doing what he's doing.
Look who it is, here again to ramble away at the audio once again. First of all, Louise your music is absolutely amazing and it was such an honour to hear it, you have such incredible talent!!
Now the audio, ahem, so first of all love the world building here, a lot of brother's best friend trope audios fall into the trap of forgetting to give backstory, they don't give the best friend a name or whatever. You not only gave Jesse a name but also spent the time to build up a picture of memories shared with the listener and how you've interacted up to this point. The way you built up the "were they dating?" And the slow pause with the huh, it said so much in so little especially followed by the "I'm smiling because you're smiling" the relief and barely hidden joy we could hear in that line is such good emotional control. The fact from the minute you asked for the check and we moved location you could feel the tension rising, which was juxtaposed with the steady beat of the clock ticking away, and it just built anticipation until suddenly silence. The sudden silence left us on edge and seamlessly helped transition into the confession. You always drop your tone and slow your speech from your "regular talking voice" as you get into the emotional scenes and it does help you transition between atmospheres and emotion really well.
Also side note your phone call portions throughout this were so realistic. The whole audio tbh I was taken aback at the realism, even in how you integrated the trope, it was all very realistic and grounded in what genuinely could and has happened to people irl, the losing touch and reconnecting. The realisation you had a chance all along, the finally putting it all at risk to shoot your shot, it was so hyper realistic it's crazy.
You saying "this changed my course of the evening" after the listener says they like you too made me laugh and I love how you clearly showed the characters confusion and frazzled state through their words, action and tone. And the final lines too, allowing the listener time to reassess their thoughts on the character whilst still keeping the tension high and shooting your shot clearly with a kiss, immaculate. And I loved the call back to talking about work in the beginning to you calling in for the day off at the end (also that pause before 'do' lol we see you, get it). So yes this was amazing, that is today's essay sorry it was real long again 😭, thank you so much for this Nora!!!

I'm gonna have to ask though: are you reading through my notes or something? Or are you psychic, maybe? It's honestly crazy how well you pick up on details, and what makes it even crazier is how pretty much all of how you describe these details is exactly how I think of them when I'm making the audios. From putting a name and memories tied to the best friend, all the way to the steady beat of the clock ticking away - I can't say I thought of everything as beautifully as you write it out, but the intent was 100% there!

I don’t normally comment on UA-cam videos, let alone older ones, but this one-and just you in general-is an exception.
Before I go into it, your voice. I’m a very audio sensitive person, so when I come across a voice that I genuinely find calming, soothing, and just overall nice, I’m easily hooked.
But what really captured me was the quality of this. The writing is just beautiful. It seems so authentic while surreal at the same time. I don’t know if that even makes sense.
The sound design, too, is . . . I don’t think I’ve come across many channels that do it, let alone to your caliber. The way you introduced different ambience sounds without it feeling choppy or jarring. How they intensified to charge the moment. And maybe my ears are playing with me, but I thought I heard some audio ducking-lowering and raising the volume again depending if you’re speaking or not. (If there’s none of that, pretend I didn’t say anything.)
