Liked your test. I have a box full of glue sticks that are worthless. Most of them unglued one way or another. Some just don’t glide over the paper, causing me to work harder to cover the pieces. Elmers is the worst all around, Tombow not much better (and most expensive) I bought the Avery one to try and I love it! Went back and bought the huge multi pack. The paper gets soft when you put it on but after it dries the paper is stiff but not brittle and becomes permanent. The Avery is priced very reasonably too, especially if you buy the multi pack. I would have liked to see you glue cardstock as well. That’s were the real difference between these glues are. I collage, junk journal, been a fabric covered album maker for 30 years. It works on paper, fabric, lace, suede, burlap. I rarely use Fabric Tack. Alene’s clear tacky is the same as Fabric Tack but much cheaper. Liquid glue test would be great. I buy Alene’s tacky by the gallon. Been using it for years .
Such a great comment and full of so much great, glue information! Thank you! Will pin to the top for others to see.😊 Made a note about testing the glue sticks on cardstock the next go around and I still want to do a wet glue test as well. Many thanks again for watching and commenting!❤️
Julie thank you so much for taking the time to do this! Fantastic video friend. I’m going to share this on my community tab. I think it is a great resource.
Yes, they were very close!! Surprising! A few standouts but very close and I’m glad we decided at the beginning, to also factor in cost. Thank you Amy!🤗❤️
Loved this Julie and Taylor! I really liked the comparison between the book pages and magazine pages. I am currently using UHU. I’ll probably stick with it because of the price point. Thanks hon! Crafty hugs 🤗 teri
Thank you Teri! We thought it would be good to test multiple ways and I am glad we did. UHU was definitely a standout and you can’t beat the price. Love the large size too. Thank you!🤗❤️
Great job Taylor and Julie! Tombow is my current go to after firing the scotch purple and next I think I’ll try the Uhu since I’ve seen so many others use it. Thank you for doing the test!
Thank you LeAnne!🤗 I think UHU will likely be one of my go-to choices once I work through all the glue sticks I bought for the testing. I have so many now.😵💫🤣Especially with the nice price point of it! Thank you my friend and glad it was helpful!!❤️
So fun. I already know how the Elmer's does and doesn't stick so I can remove that from MY list. With the way you were laying down the glue I would have a harder time picking because I usually don't take that much time or steps. 😵💫☺️🤣 I still will have to think about which one I want to buy. Undecided. 😍❤️😘
Same Kathy. I won’t be an Elmer’s buyer either, after I use what I bought for the testing. We went back and forth on whether to do the burnishing…sometimes I do, sometimes not but didn’t want to leave any room on that. Because we did multiple times, we had the benefit of knowing all the outcomes and that in itself was extremely interesting.🧐🤓 😘Thank you for watching and commenting my friend!🤗❤️
Interesting test! I really like the purple glue too but seeing how badly it performs makes me want to try the others. I see you have links in the description to Amazon for the glues - thanks!
Thank you Joni and yes, we do have the Amazon links to all the glues included, down in the description.😊Really enjoy a purple glue too and it was interesting that it didn’t do as well in the testing. Also interesting how the Pritt glue that had the dry and sort of off putting texture, did really well. Thank you Joni!!🤗❤️
So good to know! 🤗I have a small list going of additional brands suggested and have added in the Darice. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!💖
This was impressive. I guess an oz goes a long way but it seems really expensive when you break it down that way. Save your papers and let us know next year or in 5 years how the permanence performs. 😮😄
Thank you so much Carol!💓It was very interesting to see the breakdown in the pricing and surprising in some cases. I did keep the glue pages and the graph too. 🤗❤️
I can most definitely do a follow-up.💓 I saved our chart and both substrates to see how they hold up over time. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.🤗

Great test! Thanks for doing this.
We had a lot of fun doing it and so happy it was helpful to you! Thank you so much for watching and commenting.💓
Thank you, Julie & Taylor. This was really interesting & enjoyed watching the process. Oh, yeah,a liquid glue test. You've said it now.😂😂🩷
Thank you from the two of us, Tammy!!💖 Yes, we did say that, didn’t we. 😂😂
Julie thank you so much for taking the time to do this! Fantastic video friend. I’m going to share this on my community tab. I think it is a great resource.
Thank you so much Carrie!❤️It was great fun to do, especially with my daughter and I hope there are some useful takeaways.
They were all so close!!!! 😮

We loved putting this test together! 🤗 Amazon links are in the description for all the glues included.

That was fun to watch. Thanks for your insights and comparison. ❤
Thank you Angela! Glad you enjoyed it. Was fun to do and interesting to see the results we got. ❤️
Great Teat. Seem like a lot of fun!! TFS
Thank you so much and glad it was helpful! My daughter and I had a lot of fun doing it together and may do more in the future. ❤️

Thank you Caroline!🤗Glad you enjoyed it. Seemed like a good way to approach it and we are looking forward to doing more.🤓❤️

I use scotch permanent stick, very different from the purple.
Very good to know! I have been keeping a list for a future test and add the non-purple. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.💓🤗
Darice sells a GIANT 4 oz stick I got off Amazon which I really like.
So good to know! 🤗I have a small list going of additional brands suggested and have added in the Darice. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!💖

Can you do a follow up on how long they last? I have had stuff come off years laste with a couple of those!
I can most definitely do a follow-up.💓 I saved our chart and both substrates to see how they hold up over time. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.🤗
I wish you had tested Jot (dollar tree brand)
Great suggestion on the Jot! I wrote that down to include in the next comparison test. Thank you!💓
I'm really surprised that Elmers is the most expensive. I would have expected the opposite. Weird.
I will definitely double check when back. Might be because the ounces are low but I definitely want to look into that LeAnne. ❤️👍
Where I get it, it's alot cheaper, I don't buy from Amazon though.
