This group, i feel something special about them same as SB19 the first time i watch them honestly. IDK why maybe because of their hardship that draws me in and willing to help them in any possible way because they deserve it i felt like. Well, all ppop groups have their own stories and deserve to be successful so i wish all of them luck in the coming years because the competition is getting higher. It is just a matter of patience and perseverance.

"Baka Joke" roughly translates to "maybe/probably a joke". Its somewhat like "Bazinga!" but the other way around usually... Instead of joking the other person, you'll "correct" them.
Sample:
Person1: Hey! You have gum on your pants.
Person2: Really?
Person1: Joke!
Person2: Baka joke!
Or..
Person1: Dude, the deadline is today!
Person2: You're joking right?
Person1: Baka joke!
At least that's how we use "baka joke" in our place. If not, it could probably be telling jokes with the word BAKA which is the Tagalog for Cow and Maybe (interchanging COW for MAYBE, or vice versa, which will end up confusing the listener).
Ahhh ok that makes sense, it did mean different for the Japanese version , in Spanish we also say baka for cow but with a v (vaca)
Hi, Chachii! I started watching your content because of SB19, but I kept coming back because I love your energy. I don't really comment a lot online, so some parts of this comment may not be relevant to this video in particular, but may answer something from your other videos. Here goes:
Baka is also a word in Tagalog. It has more than one meaning. One meaning is "cow", and the other meaning is "maybe".
Also, just wanted to let you know that a loose translation, yet somewhat captures the essence of the word grabe is "intense". It can be used in both a positive or a negative context. When used alone like a one-word sentence like "Grabe!", it could mean "That was intense!". It could be an expression of awe and amazement towards something regardless of whether it's good or bad. It can also be used as an adjective or adverb to describe the intensity, magnitude, or severity of something.
Examples:
"Grabe yung iyak niya" = His/Her cries are intense. "Grabe yung sakit"= The pain is extreme.
"Grabe yung sira" = The damage is severe.
"Grabe ang ganda niya" = Her beauty is exceptional/extraordinary.
I would like to also let you know that in Tagalog, when you read words with vowels next to each other, you pronounce the sound of each vowel separately like each vowel is its own syllable. For example, the Tagalog word "naiiyak" would be spelled phonetically as "nah-i-i-yak" like the I's will be spoken like the E in the word English.
