Made this tonight as my peppers were ready to pick. I used seven and put them all in. It was just the right heat for everyone. The ones that like it hotter have the option to add more heat after cooking. I opted to serve it over rice and oh my, it is delicious! I should have worn gloves as my left hand is burning. But it was worth it. Another winner!
Jeffrey thank you so much I am all about low carb this over cauliflower rice is an excellent dinner, dip using No grain tortillas chips. I have an instant pot and look forward to anything you cook that I can eat! Thank you for trying to keep us all included… Love it
Hey Jeff, if you haven't noticed the trend in the comments yet, this is a GREAT recipe for the Keto diet. Keto + Instantpot is a popular combo. I already do lots of your recipies, only replace the corn starch slurry with some xantham gum, and sometimes cut the onions in half. Just figured I'd let you know since I'm guessing, although very niche, lot's of us High Fat, Low Carb people flock to youtube for recipies!
If you cut the broth down some after cooking but before you add in the cheese, you may not even need the xantham gum. I made this recently and found that this method worked really well over some cauliflower mash and wasnt thin at all.
I just made this recipe and it is absolutely delicious! I put a little extra broth to give it some more sauce and I poured it over some egg noodles. Everyone loved it! Amazing recipe!
Yes another great recipe, I know you just released a cookbook, but you should do one specifically for Keto recipes. Thanks for another great vid, will definitely try this one this week.
Just made this, I have to say, bacon is the star of this dish. I think it's because the veggies are sauteed in bacon grease, but the bacon flavor stands out the most. As a bacon lover, this is a good thing. Love this dish!
Just remember if you choose to go on one of these fad diets, to talk to your doctor or NP/RN first. If you’re too embarrassed to do so, the fad is not for you.
@@Codyak13 It's NOT a fad diet for me...it's a lifestyle I prefer and feel so much better eating this way...but you're right...some can't do it or stick with it.
I’d eat this with a big pile of tortilla chips. Eat the chicken, and then scoop up all the sauce with the chips. A little frozen margarita, and it’s a party!!
Awesome! Love seeing a recipe I can eat on low-carb. This one’s getting layered over seasoned cauli-rice. I agree with Richard- a little diced tomato (or even pico de Gallo) sprinkled in would be prefect! Then it becomes “loaded jalapeño popper chicken” 🙂
Thank you SO MUCH Jeff! I made this but I added brown rice in (already cooked) at the end to help soak up some of the liquid and capture some of that AMAZING flavor. This was SO AWESOME! I immediately went on Amazon and bought your cookbook. It's GREAT by the way. Excellent job all the way through! I bought the spiral bound version because it's so easy to use while in the kitchen. You Are The Best!!! Please keep up the good work!!
ok i did this and my family went crazy. i just bought a ton of hatch peppers just because i love them more than anything so this will be revisited tonight only i may wrap and air fry some for a weird chimi
Anytime somebody points with their fork like Richard did, you know it's delicious. It's because they're so excited to say it's delicious, but their mouth is full (or it's too hot) so they have to wait, so they wave their fork at it. I know, I've done it too. You have as well, you know you have.
OMG, I just picked some jalapenos to make some poppers for the race tomorrow....I will make this amazing recipe instead. Thank you for the perfect timing!🌶👍🌟
Omg, can’t wait to try it. I wish you were my neighbor. I have your book and everything I’ve tried was amazing. The fried rice from LI, wow!!! Shout out to Commack & Qns. Woohoo 👍😁
Looks delicious (as always)❣️ One question though - why adding the spices after pressure cooking? One more thing - if you haven’t bought Jeff’s cook book, run to the book store and grab one! It’s the top 1 of every cook book I’ve ever owned! I keep it at my bed side table for inspiration to the next day. I’ve tried dishes I never thought I would. And they all turn out amazing ❣️🙌🏻 It’s so easy to follow and it made me totally in love with my IP. Thank you, Jeff❣️ My family now eat a lot more versatile than ever🙏🏼👍🏼😍 And it has helped me fill up my freezer with finished meals that are just great to reach for those days when I don’t feel like cooking👍🏼🙏🏼😍
Man this looks so yum!! I cannot wait to try this. We love jalapeño poppers with our BBQs here in Texas. And this let’s us have it as a meal! And think for those that are meal preppers out there, you could make this and freeze ahead of time to pull out for dinner at a later date! Genius Jeff!! By the way got your book when it first came out..... LOVE IT!! And yes I am a picture step by step person. So thank you so much for doing this! Hugs buddy 🥰
Going to make this for my daughter who is in culinary school. I won’t tell her ahead of time or she will try to mess with it and I won’t know what she did. 😂 Looks awesome. Love your cookbook!
That looks Delicious!!!! “Sloppy Seconds” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂!! It’s always fun to see Richard, you guys are such a handsome couple!! Whaaaat? A cookbook? Yesss!! I didn’t know it was out yet, I’m buying it right now! I also use your recipes on my IP Group on FB.
12:40 "Use the recipe as a blueprint." Ha, ha, that's what I do with all of your recipes. :) I change them to my own liking. But they are always a really good blue print.
12:21 Richard is on to his second bowl, I guess he likes it! As a Richard Myself, and a huge jalapeno Popper fan, I am wondering where is the breading or crunch? Carbs? YES! Mayeb serve with mozzerella sticks if you don't care about your heart health or just some garlic coutons...?LOL! I am Glad to be a Richard as my father was a Dick!(By choice)!
Whoa!! 4 jalapeños? My mouth would be so on fire we’d have to call the fire department! I really wish I could eat hot stuff because I love the flavor of jalapeños!

I made this tonight, and it was a hit with my family! Easy to make, and so delicious! Thank you for the great recipe; I love your channel, Jeffrey!
A friend of mine uses a grapefruit spoon to seed and devein jalapeños when she cooks. A great tip. Been doing it that way now for years.
Mind blown 🤯!! Excellent idea!!
I tried the grapefruit spoon idea! Simply brilliant!
I just made this over egg noodles and it was delicious - thanks Jeffrey and thank you instant pot!!
Made this tonight. My wife loved it !! Only had half a pound of bacon...everything else per recipe. Another HOME RUN !!!
Yes another great recipe, I know you just released a cookbook, but you should do one specifically for Keto recipes. Thanks for another great vid, will definitely try this one this week.
Jeffery you did it again. A great dish. Love love loved it.
OMG, I have mexican rice leftovers... this is what's for dinner TONIGHT! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome recipe!
I make this regularly. One of my family's favorite! And my kids don't eat Jalapeño poppers lol
I was given a big ass pressure cooker and didnt use it for months until I found your channel😁. Thank you and I'm making this tonight!
Yaaaa....Jeffrey and Richard! The dynamic duo! 💜
Just started to watch, but have a hint...use the tip of a teaspoon to scrape out the ribs and seeds of the jalapeño half, much more efficient 🙂
Exactly what I do!
I use a grapefruit spoon! Perfect!
I use grapefruit spoons to clean out small peppers like that.
Yes using a small teaspoon under running cold water will clean out those seeds and membrane very nicely
Lisa Beets I use a small grapefruit spoon to clean out the seeds from small peppers like that.
That looks AMAZING! I love your cookbook, too. It's good to see Richard again! 😊
Thanks for introducing me to Boursin... It's an incredible secret weapon I use all the time now. I can't wait to try this :)

Your cookbook is so amazing...thank you for sharing all your yummies with us!!!!
OK. This recipe deserves a subscribe. I Love poppers so much.
pickled jalapeno for garnish instead would add a little acid to balance the richness
You can use a small teaspoon to hollow out the Jalapeno as well, works great.
Dude! This is perfect for keto! Were you aware of that? Thank you for this!
I was just thinking the same thing.
Just remember if you choose to go on one of these fad diets, to talk to your doctor or NP/RN first. If you’re too embarrassed to do so, the fad is not for you.
As soon as I saw the title, I was hoping it was good for keto and it's perfect!!
@@amazin3265 yep! Bacon wrapped jalepino poppers is our rotation, I already have all of these ingrediants in the fridge, I'm making this tonight!

OMG i was trying to figure out what kind of bread and you nailed it. some nice tortilila chips, we don't want any of that sauce to go to waste.
Yummy idea!!

😁 I made this just now, tossed yesterday's leftover mac and cheese in at the end to heat through, was quite nice, but did need a skosh more heat. 🔥

Must try this and love you BOTH! But where is Banjo my most fave of all?
I can't wait to try this recipe over a bed of egg noodles!
This dude must have a 2nd fridge dedicated exclusively to Boursin.
Hi Jeffrey.....quick tip....use a spoon to remove the seeds and ribs from the jalapenos. 😉

Man Richard is one lucky Man!!!!
Definitely gonna make this with rice
❤️this recipe
Omg looks so good. I have to try it today
Smoked stuffed jalapeños are amazing on the bbq... I wonder if adding a little liquid smoke to this dish would mimic that?
hickory smoked bacon
That looks so good. I need to break out my pressure cooker.
just made this now eating it very good ( from Va. Beach,Va )\
OMG I'm going to make this! For some reason I'm thinking some ranch dressing mix would be a good addition? What y'all think??
If using cream cheese the ranch mix would probably be great!
I think that is a great idea💡
I'm going to add a drained 10 oz can of rotel
@@dawnprest4216 oh yeah!
This might be a silly question but I was just curious as to why you put the seasonings in after you cook the chicken?
Omg 😋🤪 I need to try this
This looks keto.....yummm!! I'll have to make this!
Damn! I’m making this on Sunday.
ok i see this in my table like tomorrow
Do I have to make any changes when cooking in an 8qt IP. I just got the new 8qt duo crisp and trying to figure this all out. Thanks
We love Richard, but we love you more Jeff!
I don’t know why Richard looks so familiar to me.
My local market gave me 2 free Boursin Cheeses 😀😀. Making this tonight
Check Off....Family Saturday Night dinner idea gathered! Quick question did Richard go to Auburn or is he from Alabama? War Eagle!
You can use a spoon to scrape out the jalapeños as well.
Already decided this is tomorrow’s dinner! Where did you get the shirt?? I need it for a friend who just started her homemade wonton business 😍

We had this and it actually wasn’t hot at all. I cannot handle spicy food at all and I loved it!
Holy shit, my mouth is watering so bad.
a spoon works better to get the ribs out. I'm going to make this tomorrow!
Jeff
Absolutely gorgeous😎😎😎😜😜🙏🙏
Will cook with milder chillies though....
