One of my favourite things about this is that I watched it with the full livestream they were doing, and they didn't plan this cover at all. They just decided randomly to do a song and within 10 seconds had just started playing this. Danny went from 'what's that song again?' to playing it this well within seconds. The talent is amazing.
Mcfly's covers of songs are just as good as their originals! Tom and Danny's voices are flawless. I could listen to them all day!

Gotta confess........... Muse are my favourite band and have been since 1999. I'm a massive fan of rock anyways including classics like the Stones, The Kinks, AC/DC, Sabbath, Maiden just to name a few but this may be one of the best covers I've EVER heard! You just gotta respect Mcfly.

They are the band McFly. They are really talented. You can look for any song and you'll find out. In my opinion they are the best pop-rock band in a decade.

You're not the only one, my dad's almost 50 years old and he loves McFly! You would like their other covers then, They covered Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, The Who and a few other great bands. Their own music's changing from one album to another but their vibe is always with them.

if you look at the date the video was posted it was before the jungle which was the end of 2011. it is also around the time of the above the noise tour which dougie did have a mysterious disappearance before and as they made no reference to his missingness it is obvious that this was filmed when he was in rehab.

omg lol the guy on the furthest right called Tom is the genius who wrote most of mcfly's released songs. the awesome drummer called Harry in the middle is a huge part of mcfly and it couldn't have been a band without him. Danny, the furthest left is a great singer but actually everybody in mcfly can sing- even harry.
No retakes... just a demonstration of their immense talent.
You may prefer the original, but you can't say that McFly can't sing/play instruments or what not.

Tom has better control over his voice. Danny's voice is best for rock and roll and Tom's is smoother. They sound best together. All of them, these three guys and Dougie, make up McFly and it wouldn't be right if one of them wasn't there. They all contribute to the band.
this song, the original i mean, came on while i was at the dentist. it made me think about this cover though and that helped me relax... well as much as anyone can relax when there's a drill in your mouth! lol
