Thanks mate!! I did 2 runs before this without the Nitrous, both were 12.1@113mph and the intake temps went over 130deg buy the end!!. So dropped a little bit.
Mainly for cost reasons this isn't my main car it's a bit of a slap together from parts I had. I also like the factory look all under the engine cover.
I'm pretty keen to go an auto once I kill all my three pedals for this reason. It's milder than me and easily goes 125 mph on a baby and is about to break an 11 off bottle. Very impressive cars when set up right and the driver mod has been installed.

Thanks mate, Ive got a Dicks Electronics DST for tuning and the nitrous is just to go quicker it runs pretty good without it did a couple of 12.1s runs the same night but I think can get it to run high 11s next time.
I'm building an Ecotec Stock Single Turbo in my S10 pick-up, what do you need to prepare your engines? What power can I draw from this engine without preparation?
I'm no V6 expert this is my first build. But what I did for preparing with boost was open the ring gaps a bit, head studs and Cometic Gaskets. This is a low budget build and time will tell how long it lasts

@@rapposracing8538 Yeh the sound isn't great. A lot of fun though. My fastest no gas with the blower was an 11.23@123. Our turbo car sounded like a 2 stroke dirt bike inside 🤣 It's amazing how much power the stock block and cranks can tolerate.
Yeah there is more in it, this was only the first night at the track, needs a few adjustments but apparently it's already the quickest V6 Commodore with factory M90 blower. I Think a bit more track time plus couple small changes I can run high 9s and on a very low budget.

Crazy that it is basically a stock engine with a cam, nitrous and a good tune.
That seems a little slow, I would think it should be faster plus bouncing that rev Limiter on that late shift didn’t help
