Jim yeah... I love both. I have the Roco S 3/6 for a while. The brown looks always very good on loco. When I saw this S 2/6 in purple livery, I said to myself: "I have to have it". Looks stunning!

Beautiful! Who made the carriage of the S3/6?

What do you mean with carriage? Pulled person cars? Fleischmann and Lilliput if I good remember.

Both superb, although I prefer the Trix colours and details and the as a locomotive I prefer a S3/6 over an S2/6. Can you tell please, me what brand and model are the 2 cars close to the line at the start point?

So I have checked the models of cars. The grey one is from Ricko - Lincoln Model K, and the second one is Ricko - Audi Alpensieger... 😊

One wonders what was the top speed of the S 3/6?

    • @MaxSupercars

      120 km/h... not bad for a year 1908... got 1770 PS

@@MaxSupercars Indeed, not bad at all. Thanks! Love to learn this. It just so happens that I had a Maffei S 3/6 Märklin HO model in green livery with brass trimming when I was a kid, and I was so taken by its beauty it quickly became my favourite locomotive of all time. 😄
