Feriha Yilmaz is an attractive, beautiful, talented and ambitious daughter of a poor family. Her father, Riza Yilmaz, is a janitor in Etiler, an upper-class neighbourhood in Istanbul. Her mother Zehra Yilmaz is a maid. Feriha studies at a private university with full scholarship. While studying at the university, Feriha poses as a rich girl. She meets a handsome and rich young man, Emir Sarrafoglu. Feriha lies about her life and her family background and Emir falls in love with her without knowing who she really is. She falls in love with him too and becomes trapped in her own lies.

Emir and Feriah’s love story can be summarised:
Sometimes love is beautiful it makes their hearts ♥️ flutter and make them smile and float in cloud nine,
Sometimes love is painful it cuts like a knife and make life so unbearable,
Feriah and Emir, love is a tad beautiful sometimes and much too unbearably painful most times.
Time and place separated them at a time but still they have so much love for each other and they both wanted to make a life together again so bad; perhaps their next attempt at love and a life together could be better this time around, we may never know…
I guess that bit “what could have been” is what hurts the most to viewers who have watched and invested so much emotionally to this series.
So unsurprisingly, for me this drama 🎭 is a series I both, love but hate at the same time.

You don’t know it Emir, but Feriha’s relationship with her father changed immediately after she met you. That phone that you snuck in her bag out of the good human value of paying your debt, cost her father’s trust. It is nice that you trust Feriha, still a stranger to you, with how you are feeling about your everyday issues. You can talk to her.
