Nah, there's been quite a few people to do so. However, some of those other playthroughs have some shortcomings in my opinion, so I felt there was a void to be filled, especially with quite a few people revisiting DOA during these current times. And it's easy content for me to make too, as I don't have to write or edit anything, lol.
Chinatown is certainly the toughest arena on the game. On Solo, you want to try staying in the open portion of the map as much as possible (avoid the tight areas by the bridge unless it’s necessary). Unfortunately, there is no specific strategy that will guarantee success on Chinatown or any other arena, as the enemy spawns, item-pickups, and placement of electric poles always vary. Because of this, the only things I would recommend is 1.) Practice makes perfect, and 2.) Learn from others. You seem to be doing just that by watching this gameplay, so that's helpful. Here are some general tips that I would offer: Use the Fast Feet fate on Solo. Just because you run fast, doesn’t mean you always have to. Sometimes you should slow things down to avoid running into electric poles or enemies on such a small arena. Try to utilize first-person mode as much as possible, as it increases your score multiplier by 4x. If you have 2 hits in first-person mode and are faced with danger, exit it with Triangle/Y depending on your console. Try to use your nukes/boosts wisely (save them on the earlier arenas, and then use them on Chinatown). Always be on the lookout for skulls on the map, and try to utilize purple skull weapons as much as possible on Chinatown. Utilizing your Invincibility Ring properly is also helpful. The Ring lasts about 10 seconds after you die, so you should use that Ring on zombies and avoid picking up key drops until you absolutely have to. A common mistake I see made is that players will pick up something like a Tank immediately after dying. That's essentially wasting several seconds of the Tank. You should wait on certain drops until you HAVE to grab them, rather than instantly grabbing them when you have a Ring or have no danger posed to you. Effectively managing your item-drops is a simple tactic to help burn time on a difficult arena like Chinatown. Beating Chinatown is quite good and is better than what the vast majority of players accomplish. If you want to make it further and beat the Silverback boss, you likely need to practice a little more and learn from your mistakes as much as possible. If you have any more questions, I’d be happy to answer them. Additionally, you could send me some of your gameplay in the future, and I'll be happy to dissect it and offer some tips specific to your gameplay. Good luck!
They run at me faster than I can run sometimes, I don't know what to do besides use armory when that happens xD I've went in with 9 7 9 and didn't get close to getting the bar all the way down.
@@DempseyDaPro Here's some gameplay of me on the 128 boss from a couple of years ago. It's not an extraordinarily well-played round, but perhaps it could help you: ua-cam.com/video/zHT6TEOT_qA/v-deo.html The round 128 could be a little tricky at times, but 979 should usually be more than enough to beat it. You might be using your armory at the wrong times, like when you have nothing to protect. You'll usually want to save armory for when you have a good weapon, or if you're running really low on lives. If you get a Shotgun to spawn, which is quite common, you should make sure you wait on it as long as possible, so that some Skulls or other item could spawn in to help you upgrade it. The Purple Shotgun is the ultimate weapon against the boss, so this is the time to use some armory to protect yourself and inflict high damage. The FIDO chicken vehicle is also very effective against the boss, so make sure that the Silverbacks don't steal crucial items like this one. It's quite difficult for the Silverbacks to outrun you if you have the Feet, so make sure you're not carelessly running into the banana bombs or getting too close to them if you don't have to be. If you only have the standard LMG, you might want to focus more on keeping your distance from the Silverbacks and making sure you don't die from zombies, since the LMG really doesn't do much damage. The boss round is all about utilizing the items on the map, and once you get the hang of that, you'll be on your way to beating it. Of course, a little luck helps too.
I don't remember that being an issue. What Fate are you using? Fury provided 10% increase in speed and very heavy damage. If you are struggling on Boss with that, then your goal should be to enter Boss Fight with more Lives/Armory.
First of all.. your literally insane at dead ops this game mode is very difficult but it’s probably easy to ya now. Few questions is doa 1 easier than doa 2? and I guess I can add doa 3 to the mix. Also when you first started to play was this game very very difficult or do you pick it up easy and just got insanely good fast ?
Good questions! It's difficult to compare the difficulty of the three DOA games, as each game offers their own challenges. It also depends on what you're comparing - if we're talking about which game is the easiest to beat the first Boss fight, then probably DOA1 is the easiest, simply because it is the quickest to complete, along with the level layouts all being pretty similar. On the other hand, DOA3 has a playlist option that lets you play entirely in First-Person perspective, so that is probably easier than completing DOA1. I first started playing the series with DOA1 back in 2011. I wasn't terrible at first, but I certainly wasn't great either. It took me a few tries and some help before I was able to beat the Round 40 Boss Fight on that game. I ended up getting to Round 160 (the max round possible on that game) about two years later. The good news for newer players is that the learning curve is faster and easier than back when I started playing the game. There are plenty of HD videos, livestreams, and even some written guides which help you get better at the game, and pick at the brain of better players, and that was rare to come by over a decade ago. So what took years for players like me to master back in the day, can now take mere months to get to that same level of skill, since tactics have evolved and also there being a greater number of resources readily available to the player.
I give you props for winning with the boots cause I fucking hate them I only ever beat this once which was today lol but I had the chicken one which saved me so much especially having it upgraded and getting the golden one that gives you lives
@@TheMoZProjectso u think dead ops 2 is the hardest? I’m only saying that bc it’s 64 rounds with no first person only mode and no checkpoints. And it’s gets fairly hard at the 6th or 7th area. I’ve beaten dead ops 2 it was hard as hell but wanted to get a god like opinion like yours
Many newer players check out during Chinatown and the Stone Guardian battle, so there is an argument for it being the toughest to beat, but a lot of the subsequent arenas aren't too difficult. DOA3 top-down might be a bit more difficult overall for a defeat.
You still play DOA? I started playing a game because on my son. Just bought a Live membership on there 360 if you ever wanted to play a casual game. I'm also playing on PS3 again. For DOA 2 i only have a PS4.
Whenever you enter First-Person mode or take a death, you have about 10 seconds of an Invincibility Shield. Whenever you use a piece of armory like a Speed Boost/Nuke, whenever you exit First-Person mode, or whenever you exit a vehicle, you have about 3 seconds of an Invincibility Shield.
On my computer, I can watch it in 1080p. On my phone, it does not give me the option to change video quality (not sure why does is or when it started happening).
Maybe. It's more so dependent on my teammate(s) rather than me. I'll probably attempt some sort of high-round game later this month, perhaps DOA1 if I can't get a DOA2 game going. Recently created a DOA Discord, so there's quite a few of us playing again/trying to arrange matches.
I'm on Xbox & I don't really play very often these days. However, I might do an Open Lobby in the coming weeks with subsribers if there's enough interest, and if I do, I'll let you know.
