- In this video, my pet mallard duck’s head starts to turn green. This happens to all male mallard ducks as they mature. After, I feed my pet alligator gar and bluegill. Thank y’all for watching!!

@@Kupsode What's the "Uhh" for? He does have bass, they just don't eat pellets anymore so won't come to him for feedings. He said that in the last video.
But I love the ducks though.
Make sure that you move that owl from place to place frequently. If the Hawks see it in the same location every single day they will start to ignore it pretty quickly.
I've heard that owl things like that are best if you move them every now and then - hawks might wise up to it being fake if it stays in one spot for too long
He should dress like an owl and run around the lake flapping his wings.

The ducks are now my favorite thing about your channel, they're awesome, and it's really nice to see how they are familiar with you and feed from your hand without any fear or hesitation.
I love that he raised them from babies then they bolted when they were brought to pond, but came back and stayed.......awwwwww
Hopefully the 7th duck is still out there somewhere... It would be cool to have big Odie and the Channel Cats brought over to the new pond...
Hawks are known to be afraid of Owls, however that Owl decoy can also scare ducks just as well.

I don’t know about that. Here in New Zealand we have the whio, or blue duck, which is the only species of alpine ducks in the world.
No, here in brazil we have the capybara. She is the biggest rodent in the world and still gets along well with all animals

They've stopped coming up to him apparently, we'll have to wait and see if they get used to their new home and eat from him again.

This morning I was fishing off a fork of the trinity In Las Colinas TX. And I saw more alligator gar than I could count top water feeding. One of the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. Watching the dinosaurs stick thier mouth out and then look at me

I love the fact that the ducks can go anywhere they want to, but choose to stay because it's just so nice there.
When I tried the owl decoy for hawk deterrence it just attracted tons of crows which helped against the hawks temporarily but then the crows figured it out and left
Crows are quite intelligent.
He could try leaving out food for the crows attracted by the owl decoy to get them to stick around, but when the ducks start laying eggs and having ducklings around, won't the crows become the bigger threat? Anyway, we're at risk of getting into _There Was an Old lady Who Swallowed a Fly_ territory here.

I have a pond full of mosquito fish and green sunfish. The biggest one has been with us for around five years,I almost never see him though,he’s so shy and fast. One of the newest additions is so chill,he doesn’t care when I’m around and they know they get fed when I’m there.
