This video helped so much! With us having online schooling, our teacher just introduced a packet about waves. The animations cleared up a lot of confusion I had. Keep at it!
This video is proof of how a 3min video by professionals can clear a concept far better than 1hour at the useless schools in my country Thank you soo much :)
OMG thank you so much, ive been trying to figure out theses wave thingies for a thousand years, you are the only thing that has helped me so happy right nowwwwwwww
Short but amazing seriously it did helped me a lot for my physics exam.I really like the animations the video consists of , as it creates interest.thanks for such a clear explanation.
Thank you sooo much for this video!!!! “Remember that it is the energy and not the slinky itself that travels” You explained it so clearly keeping a little bit of humour also alive. 6 Reply
This helps a lot! My science teacher doesn't explain what the Waves are or what most things are when he gives us a packet (I personally cannot wait to move to 7th grade, apparently they've got the best science teachers)
i cant thank you enough!!! such incredible & detailed explanation in a short video, i will definitely keep your channel on the lookout anytime i have a science test! i learned more in this video than i did during my entire lesson about transverse/longitudinal wave! once again, thank you so much & keep up the phenomenal work!

Shouldn't the visible spectrum of light circa 2:31 be flipped so the longer wavelengths correspond with the lower frequencies waves? i.e. Red to the left and violet to the right?
If one pArticle transfer energy to another particle and then that particle transfrr enrgy to the next than how the motio stops i mean there are so many particles if they keep transfering energy to one another how do they stop??? kindly plz tell me about this thing
visible light wavelengths are backwards in the picture, it shows it from shortest to longest, instead of decreasing wavelengths... confused me for a sec lol
I am revising so bare with me The longitudinal waves are the waves which the particles move parallel in the right angle of the direction of the wave The transverse waves are the waves which the particles move perpendicular to the right angle of the direction of the wave.
i was having a hard time trying to grasp the differences of transversal and longitudinal, especially the differentiation of the different ways they transfer energy but now its all good. I think i might look back at fuse school for more solutions :) Edit: The animations helped me most in getting a grasp of things.
