@@Kugisaki_X Yea my friend also has the same problem, I send in a ticket and I said that I was not afk and they basically told me that I was and they were not going to remove the penalty, any competent programmer would be able to solve that within minutes, just code in if the enemy has opened buy menu, moved, if they can even move their mouse and things like that, its quite easy actually. Classic Riot XD

I run a solid 200 fps on this game, used to always run great but now things load super slow rather its in the menu or loading into a game. Im stuck in the loading screen for a solid 3-5 minutes and I can hear people talking and moving but Its stuck on the loading screen

Your account might be banned for due to some things that you have lying around your pc
There anti cheat is a tank so if you have some random files that might have tagged along the game download
I just fixed it by using alt + enter
My problem is I can select an agent but then it gets stuck on map loading screen and after couple of minutes it sends me back to lobby. I reinstalled the game. Even I reinstalled windows. But still the same problem. I could play the game before but suddenly it happened and from that moment I still haven't been able to play the game. I even tried other accounts. It doesn't even let me enter the practice match. What should I do?
Me too! I can log into the game and get to the agent select screen but when the game starts for everybody else I’m still stuck on the loading screen. I reinstalled valorant and did everything in this video and still can’t even get on the range.

Thank you for the provided information, screenshots and testing till now. I've checked the Logs and have a few suggestions how to fix the freezing issue. Before we start, it's important that you have the latest WINDOWS UPDATES. VALORANT is optimized to work best when on the latest version of Windows and updating can resolve a number of issues.
1st Go with a whitelist of both VALORANT and Riot Vanguard on your antivirus & firewall. These are the file paths you need to add:
C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\VALORANT.exe
C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgc.exe
C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe
C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\VALORANT-Win64-Shipping
2nd I recommend turning off full screen optimization since this might be enabled by default. Try out these steps:
• Right click on the shortcut of the game from your Desktop
• Select Properties
• Open up the Compatibility tab
• Check the Disable Fullscreen optimizations box and hit Apply
Also let's try disabling Focus Assist:
• Open Settings
• Click on System
• Click on Focus assist
• Click on Off
• Under Automatic rules, change 'When I'm playing a game' to 'Off'
• And uncheck 'Show me a summary of what I missed while focus assist was on' as well
3rd, follow the steps from here in order to set up your resolution from the AMD settings. I believe that certain improvements can be made to increase overall performance:
You should set it up to the native resolution of your monitor, or a lower resolution that has the same aspect ratio.
Finally 4th, Let's try altering some settings of your AMD GPU to increase the overall performance:
• Anti-aliasing Mode ➪ Use application settings (Off in game)
• Anti-aliasing Method ➪ Multisampling (Of in game)
• Morphological Filtering ➪ Off
• Anisotropic Filtering Mode ➪ Use application settings (Off in game)
• Texture Filtering Quality ➪ Performance
• Surface Format Optimization ➪ On
• Wait for Vertical Refresh ➪ Off, unless application specifies (Off in game, unless your frames are able to be maintained, never dropping below your monitors refresh rate)
• OpenGL Triple Buffering ➪ Off
• Shader Cache ➪ AMD optimized
• Tessellation Mode ➪ AMD optimized
• Frame Rate Target Control ➪ On (Set to your monitors maximum refresh rate - ex.: 60 for 60Hz, 75 for 75Hz etc.)
I'd recommend you test it out with a nice and quick shooting range before diving into full battle. If the issue still occurs, please tell me and extract the Logs once again so I can check how the changes have affected the game. :)

Imagine a double A game load much slower than a triple A game . Warzone is the slowest triple game, but it loads much faster than Valorant
The first step works for me, for some ppl try to cap youre fps IG. usually froze in the loading screen after champ selection cauz i hit decent framerates. goes from +800 to +250/300 when i pop on the server. For sure an issue from the game.

May be caused by Stretched resolution/Hard disk (Switched from the Ssd to the NVME back) in my case.
Surely a dumb bug from the game cauz there’s no way it could happens

i was forced to update to win11 and coincidentally wanted to try and play valo again. Not only this brought a wave of problems to solve but now every time i want to boot the game it takes 15 minutes to open (yes the game was downloaded in my ssd) and when i load a match it just breaks and my computer freezes. Great 😀

So I’m a new pc gamer and I recently tried getting into valorant BUT I COULDNT .. now the reason why I couldn’t and your reason most likely won’t be the same because I’m new to the pc world … long story short the reason valorant wasn’t loading for me is because I had my display port plugged into my MOTHERBOARD instead of my GRAPHICS CARD .. before everyone starts browsing there settings and doing all these “ recommended “ settings make sure your hdm1/ display port is plugged into your GRAPHICS CARD .. not your MOTHERBOARD , I hope I helped solve some issues
I soved this problem with another way.
If u have another local disk you can change your folder Riot games and restart the game or you reinstall the game in this other disk
what should i do if my game still didnt lode. It still stay in the loding scream for few mins. And after get in the game when start the match it stuck again and the scream freeze.

ever since i downloaded the game on epic games it hasnt been working properly
so i tried all of the steps and it worked but when i had disable fullscreen optimizations on my game would run and make my pc go into 4k x 2k 3840 x 2160 and 60 hz which is not my resolution or my hz. I turned that off and it worked but my game crashed and I reopened it and it was doing the same thing so i turned off disable fullscreen optimizations and it did it again so i tried the rest of the steps but none of them worked. But the last step with deleting the riot vanguard i did that and restarted my computer but when i try to launch my game i just get an error code and it wont let me run valorant. PLEASE HELP!

@@mrdeadlyphantom2368 so when i load up valorant my game resolution goes to 3840 x 2160 but than i switch it back to 1920 x 1080 and the monitor resolution is at 3840 x 2160 and the monitor it says im on is not my monitor

Your video actually messed up my game now whenever i try launching it says " windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I uninstalled twice once where i only uninstalled valorant and then it didnt work then i did it again by uninstalling quite literally everything, riot client and riot games but IT STILL DOESNT WORK

i think i found the issue. Just download it on your c drive or your ssd not on a external hard drive or something else download it on your c drive or your whatever ssd youre using

It used to be free, but they've changed it. I would suggest just updating the drivers manually via your manufacturers website.
