This song is about Praising God. Sounds like it should be in a church. But at my church we don’t sing about drawing guns or moving sex for tops and bottoms when we praise God We praise him for love, and his gift of Christ. He stole the word hallelujah and the catchy tune in his Jewish raised, confused mushroom controlled mind. Perfect song for the times.
Beautiful song but not a religious one I’m sorry to say the direct line alluding to king David’s fall from grace. The wording of doubt at the very beginning ( maybe there’s a god above but all I ever learned from love is how to shoot someone who outdrew ya) these and other passages are about the fall of humans and lost hope a cold and broken halloewya. Beautiful song but not a praising of the lord.
Meaning of "Hallelujah" This world is full of conflicts and full of things that cannot be reconciled. But there are moments when we can reconcile and embrace the whole mess, and that's what I mean by 'Hallelujah.' -Leonard Cohen
@@mikemcgown2773Oh my, that's a bit harsh. l've worked in the music industry for years. However, no one is perfect. The word Hallelujah means " God be praised." lt's an expression of rejoicing. This song isn't meant to be spiritual. Sure there was a King David, who was weakened by the Beauty of a woman and fell short from his weakness. This isn't a spiritual song. It's a mixture of human weakness mixed with some spiritual wording. We shouldn't be so quick to judge one so harshly. Everyone sins. But there is redemption for sin. Hopefully this helps keep the peace.✌ 😊
The consequences are harsh: The sword will never depart from David's house, his wives will be taken by another, and the child born to David and Bathsheba will die. This is a hard grace, indeed. When David responds, he gives no excuses and makes no equivocation. He simply says, “I have sinned against the LORD” (12:13).

Wow, your comments are not worth any type of response. You know nothing about music.

I think not
This is a song of BLASPHEMY and ABUSE of biblical figures of faith packaged as a song of praise! 😠😡
As usual.... Satan's style! 😈
