Glad you like it. I just found out that the new movement inside that clock is a Seth Thomas movement, as labeled by the letters ST. Seth Thomas made great clock movements well over a century ago.
Very nice clock. However, from a collector's standpoint swapping movements is a big no-no; especially a movement from a another manufacturer. Did the clock shop give you an estimate for a cleaning, rebushing, replacing the mainsprings, etc for the original movement?
