Finally a creative soul that doesn't apologize about manicure or missing nailpolish! I watch videos to expand the depth of my creativity, not to watch people's choice of nailpolish or length of fake nails.. Just had autoplay on, your video popped up and I kept watching :D That treble clef is just what I been looking for. I'll watch that video after this one. And you just got a subscriber more.. I'm btw agreeing on the apologizing of your work. You know what you are doing. You should be more confident. Your work is beautiful and you are one of the better to teach others. You go girl!
Well then, I refuse to apologize for apologizing! ;) Seriously though, thank you SO much for the kind words, and the sub! I hope you have a lovely day.
Manicured, long, acrylic nails annoy me in a tutorial. The long nails get in the way of the process and I can’t see it well. Your hands look like someone who uses them for artistic endeavors. By the way... LOVE this tutorial.
I have just watched you for the first time. I do wirewrap myself and I appreciate your work very much. Your work and the way you handle your work is art. You are a skilled craftsman!
thank you for your videos, they are very helpful. And thank you for not having super long fake fingernails. I hate watching a tutorial where the fake nails are in the way. I enjoy and appreciate your videos.
why the thumbs down? wonderful tutorial...so glad no music ,,,and yes agree with the acursedragon who cares about the nails,,,thank you so much for a wonderful video,,,, so pleased i found you
Jocelyn, I absolutely LOVE your tutorials. You are so helpful. I can tell you really love what you do and you want others to learn as well. Thanks so much!
Just had your thyroid removed and still have the strength and love to share your talent with others. Bless you. Thanks a lot. @Leslie You seem like a know it all. As I learned from life's experience. No one really likes no it alls. Oops grammatical errors, YOWZA!
Thanks so much for sharing your expertise. I find your videos very well done & clear. I'm attempting to create a bail for a chandelier crystals with little success. The crystal is ~3-1/2" long x ~1/2" thick. Have you any videos that might help me? I'm a seed beader & haven't much experience wire wrapping. Sure hope you can help.
Thank you, very helpful tut.. you make it look so easy. I just did a briolette on a piece dichro I made and thought I could make these for all my music lover friends. Yours are so nice though, hope I can do them as nice :)))
Do you have any tutorials showing "How to make bails that are larger, such as for a larger crystal OR cabochon??" I just started teaching myself how to wire wrap pendants & even though my pieces are quite good, for the lack of experience (LOL), the bails are what give me grey hairs! Any suggestions would be helpful. Many thanks, Kimberly
Thank so much for both tutorials Clef and this one, you are very detailed. I enjoyed them. I have not used the silver filled wire is that a good choice for anything you would use sterling silver? How does it hold up to wear?
You know what you are doing, but please quit apologizing. That's the first thing I learned in speech classes in college. It takes away from the confidence level that you are wanting to impress your students with. Very nice work in all your videos.
Leslie Schmidt I agree with you Leslie. this was more constructive criticism that is useful to her trade especially if she is teaching others her craft
Do you have any websites you can suggest where to learn what "dead soft" means and other terms used in Jewel crafting? Sorry if this is a repeat question but I'm very new to this type of art.
Ok how well will this bail hold a titanium wire wrapped around the top of an arrow head. Really needing to redo my arrowhead necklace. I am looking to use a 24in leather cord as the foundation. The wire will go around the indents tightly on the arrowhead then soddered shut as a ring. Have another piece of the same wire wrap across not over, and sodder the ends to the handmade ring. Still leaving enough room for the bail to go on. The arrowhead Itself is about two inches long, and the top is two centimeters wide (one and a half cm counting where the indents start separately). I am looking into using at least a 20 gauge wire.
what do you use as a base when you are hammering the loops flat? metal tiles or something like that? it looks easier and cheaper than getting a jewellery anvil.
You are so talented! You make this look easy but it is not easy! I followed you step by step and it was very difficult to get my pieces to match. How in the world do You manage to do so much "tweaking" of your wire and even with it being dead soft wire or even the half hard wire, I never see your wire looking marred or nicked. How do you do that? I feel like if I don't grip with my piers, (and I have good, Linstroms chain nose) hard enough, it slips and mars my wire. But if I grip it too hard it it mars it as well. I've watched your videos and you seem to have zero marks on your wire and yet you tweak and grip it a lot. Is there a a secret or special? Your skills are awesome!!! Beautiful work!
Hello, where did you purchase your flush cutters at? I have a different looking one that i've used for jewelry making for the past 11 yrs, but they are shorter & not so pointy (if you know what i mean?). Yours are perfect for wire wrapping as they look more precise. Thanks much, Kimberly
Just curious, but why do you use round wire rather than half-round wire when binding the two sides together? Is it simply what you had on hand or is there a specific technical reason? Thanks! Love your jewelry and videos by the way!
Good night. I am in México city and I have bought a mini anvil but I dont know how to use it, would you help me with a tutorial? Thank you very much. Best regards. Juan Ramón Flores.
Lydia! I just watched your flower tutorial! You are a fantastic teacher! I was wondering where you purchase your wire? I live in Hawaii and its extremely expensive. Could you recommend any places for me? Thanks :)

Thank so much for both tutorials Clef and this one, you are very detailed. I enjoyed them. I have not used the silver filled wire is that a good choice for anything you would use sterling silver? How does it hold up to wear?
you are very creative thanks for sharing your video .
Hi! Love your tutorial. My 22 gauge wire looks smaller and softer than yours. It is Zebra wire coated copper. Will it work as well? Thanks!
You know what you are doing, but please quit apologizing. That's the first thing I learned in speech classes in college. It takes away from the confidence level that you are wanting to impress your students with. Very nice work in all your videos.
Oh Leslie, we aren't here to critique the instructor. Lets keep it to her trade please.
Leslie Schmidt I agree with you Leslie. this was more constructive criticism that is useful to her trade especially if she is teaching others her craft
Well done. Thanks
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for your tutorials. I have been trying to make a dollar $ sign but fail miserably. DO you have a tutorial on that?

Do you have any websites you can suggest where to learn what "dead soft" means and other terms used in Jewel crafting? Sorry if this is a repeat question but I'm very new to this type of art.
This is Mrs. V. Can you show how to make an Om pendant ?
well explained, thanks.
How do you wrap wire around a bracelet to hang pendants? Thank you!!!

It's a 4" square steel jeweler's bench block. You can find them on Amazon for pretty cheap!
Would this bail work on heavier and thicker pendants as glass too? The pendants will normally be 4-6 mm thick.
Hi what are you blue pliers called please as I cant find any like them. Are they chain nose pliers? Thanks. Great video too
You are so talented! You make this look easy but it is not easy! I followed you step by step and it was very difficult to get my pieces to match. I really want an answer to this as well. If I don't coat my pliers with Tool Magic, my pieces get marred. Anybody?
Can we use Aluminum wire 20G?
Or is it too soft?

Excellent.
Can you tell me about the pliers with the blue handles? Are those needle nose?
Thanks! Do they scratch up your wire?
Good night. I am in México city and I have bought a mini anvil but I dont know how to use it, would you help me with a tutorial?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
Juan Ramón Flores.
Nice tut. Thx. What are your steel tiles called and where did you get them?
Hi. Thx. But I meant what are those steel plates that you use in your various tuts to hammer on called?
Thx. Hadn't ever seen them before. Love your wire jewelry and things, you do such nice work!
Lydia! I just watched your flower tutorial! You are a fantastic teacher! I was wondering where you purchase your wire? I live in Hawaii and its extremely expensive. Could you recommend any places for me? Thanks :)
