The color of the dot when you look down sight with hunter sense on will change color when there is enough energy to take down the animal. You can also change the color in the settings menu under "bullet energy"

kinda dumb but if you look at the .30-30's ammo tab, it uses managed recoil cartridges and irl the .30-30 has basically no recoil to start with
