I just recently found a 4 star western moose in the swamps on the first map (frogot what it was called lol), it was going to be my 3rd 5 star moose but sadly it disappeared after a day of ageing 😅
It depends on if you're in a high fitness area for the specific animal. If you're not in the primary or private habitat then it's probably safe to take a 3 star mature

I think the red deers have different variations on anthers because the one I shot was almost like a Roosevelt elk on aurora shores
