Her big break was her collab with Ryosuke Nagaoka of the band Tokyo Jihen (Sheena Ringo vocalist). She’s the product of an international secondary school in Japan and of a music school. Also appeared in a t v drama last year. What’s remarkable is her guitar facility (acoustic and electric) in seemingly any genre.

Hopefully Guita Rei makes it big like Utada Hikaru who is also bilingual, but her music is not to my taste.
