ive been learning 日本語for two years and this is what helped me ‘kana’ app is really helpful for hiragana and katakana and it gives you vocabulary to learn , and ‘japanese’ it has a red icon and whatever word you want to learn just type it and it will give you the transition, also another app for words is ‘drops’ it teaches you simple but important words! its a really fun way to learn vocabulary , as well as long paragraphs. i also recommend ‘teuida’ it helps you with grammar and pronunciation which is really helpful. also you should find a language exchange partner that would really help aswell. watch japanese shows/movies so you can pick on the grammar structure. and if you want to be able to write use ‘learn japanese’
for kanji ‘kanji!’ app is good too its basically the same as the other appa but mostly focusing on japanese. japanese is hard but you can do it

ive been learning japanese for more than two years and this is what helped me!
‘kana’ helps you learn hiragana and katakana ( which is two of the three japnese alphabets)
for kanji ( the third alphabet ) use ‘kanji’ it helsp you with writing and learing kanji.
moving on to words/vocabulary ‘drops’ helps you learn words in a fun way! i recommend it a lot. also ‘japanese’ which is like a dictionary whatever word you want to know the meaning in Japanese just type it down. you can also translate paragraphs too!!
moving on to grammar , use ‘teuida’ which helps you with grammar and vocabulary and pronunciation, very great app. also watch japanese shows and movies to really pickup yhe grammar structure. maybe use language exchange partners? use apps like ‘hellotalk’ and ‘tandem’ for that
remind o practice a lot so you dont forget what you learnt already.
