    I started with anker and switched to mx. If you are new to vertical mouse world - start with anker since it’s cheaper. Sensor in mx is superior because there is no lag. Also. Mx is heavier and feels more solid. Ergonomic wise both have a bit different shapes but I don't have a favorite one - both are nice. I've been using both after ma sculpt mouse and both are great.

    I am really happy with my Anker mouse. I have the wired version which is cheaper than the wireless version and from what i get to know from your comments, the scroll wheel and buttons are fantastic even after being heavily used for 2 years. I am also a mac user but the forward and backward buttons work properly on it.

    I'm on my second Anker mouse. The first one lasted 1 year before the paint starting bubbling and peeling away. They have crap scroll wheels, quickly losing their tactility and becoming mushy. In Australia, the Logitech MX Vertical costs $180 and the Anker is $40, making the MX Vertical 4.5 x more expensive. The average lifespan of my Anker mice is about 1.5 years, meaning that the MX Vertical would need to last almost 7 years without developing faults, and I find that extremely unlikely. I suggest you buy replace the Anker mice and save your money, unless Logitech offers a 7 year warranty.

    Missing quite a few important points.... What's the scroll like? Does the Logitech have the smooth scrolling option? Thats the only reason I bought the bloody expensive mxMaster. What happens if u lose the dongle? Logitech is fine (Bluetooth+universal dongle) what about the Anker? Replaceable? Missed some very important points, but atleast video production quality is good.

    • @d0nb3x
      @d0nb3x 3 роки тому

      No, the Logitech has a pretty regular scroll wheel. It offers less resistance than the Anker, but that's about it. Pity, considering that my old (cheaper) G502 has the a toggle to switch between regular and "smooth" scrolling.

    My problem with integrated batteries is the same as I had with smartphones. Before if you had a problem with the battery you changed it for a new one, today you have to change the smartphone.
    they can tell me that the battery lasts 5 months and that it charges fast, that I still tend to think that in a short period of time, that battery will stop working as the manufacturer tells us, and that I will end up using the mouse connected to the cable all the time.

    I've used Anker vertical mouse for over 5 years and I loved it. That was until I switched from Windows to Mac with my new Macbook Pro. The Ankser mouse for some reason isn't nearly as smooth with my Macbook. Often the curser will lag when moving the mouse, demonstrating inconsistent reaction times. The scroll wheel also is very laggy. It worked perfectly with my Windows HP laptop but is very hit and miss with my Mac.
    Not sure if this is a compatibility issue or if my mouse is just old and needs replacing

    This was a pretty good review but as some others have mentioned there were some key points missed and i'll add that there is a big DPI difference between these. The Anker maxes out at 1600 DPI. The Logi is just set at 4000 DPI. This means the Logi is far more accurate which is important for precision work or gaming. 1600 is fine for normal use though.

    The Mac Mouse Fix application will make all shortcut buttons work on any mouse. The decision between the two should be based on ergonomics. Based on wht you said in the video, the Anker is better ergonomically suited to you hand. Side note: I tried the MX Master 3S for Mac mouse and found the angle to not be steep enough to replace my vertical mice. @@rsg5850 I got my wireless Anker for $17 @ Walmart.com, so it's a no brainer, but since the Logitech does not have Hyper-scroll there was no reason to pay more for it in my mind. (also its SUPER light, which felt cheap at first, but now my Logitech feels like a BRICK)
      Plus my hand does not get as hot and sweaty.
      The Anker has detents in the scrolling like a normal mouse (no smooth/ silent scrolling)
      Still missing my hyper scroll, but currently there is no Ergo- mouse that offers it.

    I have the Anker cause it was cheap! I hardly use it now though since I got a "vertical mousepad". I got an early sample of one from Orb Control called mouseramp. You can use a regular mouse on it in handshake position. Before you look it up, imagine in your head how is that possible?? Anyway, it's been working for me cause my hand is on the mouse for long durations of time for 3D modeling and photo editing.

  • @julienmerienne

    Too bad you could not connect the Anker to the computer with a simple cable. It could have been a decent gaming mouse by having a lightweight mouse. Without this feature, you have to deal with the extra weight of the batteries which is killing the purpose of an ergonomic mouse, trading pain linked to a horizontal mouse by the pain induced by lifting a heavy mouse from times to times. the battery on the Logitech is not removable which is also a very poor choice. Been using it for gaming for the last 6 months and develop some new kind of pain in the wrist by lifting the mouse from times to times (bad habit but who is never lifting his mouse from times to times). It would be awesome to have a Coolmaster MM710 type of mouse vertical, and wired. That is the absolute solution, but nobody ever created it ;/

    I have a cheap Ver. Mouse from Anker right here. And its utter trash! Its nigh impossible to hit icons at first click. And while clicking, the mouse moves, resulting in dragging the icon instead of activating it.
    Moving when clicking happens due to physics, its the thing called "leverage" that applies here.
    When i press the buttons on a normal mouse, the finger is coming from above, the mouse cannot move downwards inside the table. Unless some crazy quantum science drap is going on.
    But with a Vertical mouse, there is no real resistance when your button press/finger comes from the right, pushing the mouse to the Left!
    And this is not a learning thing. Its just a trash product!

    • @towTruck42
      @towTruck42 4 роки тому

      disagree. there's a learning curve and the clicking becomes like typing - you don't think about how it gets done after it gets wired in your brain. I'm not sure i can say exactly how i click it now to not move the cursor, but my hand figured it out and my wrist is happy it did! Just an extra 2 cents for y'all

    Phillip, please don't compare products from different categories like this ever.
    Those two products are incomparable. Sure, both are vertical and that's the only thing comparable.
    It's like comparing iPhone 12 pro (top of the line) vs Samsung L12 or whatever is the lowest or shitty phone.
    I used both mice, the Anker I just used few days and throw it in the garbage.
    Anker used shit materials, shit sensors, and got the shit product. Logitech is the opposite.
