Car is running well, good laps!! Why was the C8Z even out on track with you? He clearly should’ve been in a lower run group. As you know I had a similar experience there where a very inexperienced driver wouldn’t let me by and wound up totaling his car trying to stay in front of me.
Yeah, I didn’t want to push up on him and force him to try to out drive himself, he was definitely fast enough to be in my group, but he just had to let me by, the next session I started in front of him so he could chase me, and I was able to drop him. I think that was his first track day so he was still learning proper etiquette.
What position did you decide on using for your adjustable sway bars? Have you been happy with your brake pad choice for track and driving home? Were you using the exhaust cutouts in this track day?
Middle setting it’s pretty balanced. ST47 pads are a little too aggressive without slicks I should have gotten st43, but I’ve gotten used to them. I drove the st47 everywhere they just squeak haha. Yea cutouts WIDE OPEN!
You run traction control on the track?! Crazy man, I can't stand it. Pulls way too much out well before the limits! Do you have track addicts data to share? Looks like you're running something for data. Would be useful to see top speed improvements on straights. RE rotation, you can adjust your car for better rotation as well. Stiffen rear roll bar, slow rebound, increase front downforce and not rear like my dumb butt did but I'm happy with, etc etc.
I use competitive driving mode which takes traction off but leaves stability control on. Yea I have track addicts maybe I’ll make a separate video breaking that down! I have the rear sway bar in the middle setting which seems to rotate pretty well.

how do you like that little phone mic attachment? I just tried Track Addict for video recording and the audio was pretty miserable - almost only wind
