Frank, a tip I got from my coach as I struggled hitting my 60, he had me move it back a half to a full ball in my stance and close the club face a hair. It went from a floaty 60 yards to a still high but much nicer 90 yard club
I tend to get too armsy/handsy with my 3/4 to full 60⁰ shots. I need to always remind myself to let my hips fire or else I get way under it. I prefer to use the 52⁰ or 56⁰ for that reason but it's going to be a point of emphasis going into spring to dial in that wedge swing. Appreciate the videos!
Why do all UA-cam golfers preface that "I never take a full swing" when they have a lob wedge or sand wedge, and then proceed to swing the hands above the shoulder..............which is a FULL swing. Are they just afraid they don't hit their lob wedge or sand wedge farther than someone else, so they try to make excuses for it? Oh well, I enjoyed the WITB! Thumbs up!
Have my first ever professional fitting a week from Sunday. So excited to see how it changes my game. Watched your fitting videos and only amped me up more.
Being fitted for your clubs greatest thing to come to golf Happy New Year guys can't wait for some playing vlogs . You guys thinking of traveling this winter I hope so
Nice setup. I like those irons. I ended up resurrecting a set of near mint MX20's I got for $25 with creeping ferrules and beat grips instead of going new. Interesting to see choices on either end of the bag. I play a 56 bent to 55 as my highest loft and use it for pretty much every shot inside of 80yds.. I just got a 15 degree 3w to replace my old 13 degree and it's still less than 10yds. behind my driver. Tour edge xcg4, love it so far and head looks like a mini-driver to me.
Crazy how similar our games are. My yardages are little longer 7 and down but I also hated my 3 wood, flip back and forth between avx and pro-v1 depending on weather conditions, and similar handicaps (10.2 right now). Did you find lofting up to the 16.5 fairway helped a lot? I’m looking to dump my radspeed for a 16.5 or 18 degree TSI2 to match my TSI2 hybrid and driver. I think the shorter handle and higher loft may help me get into that 235-250 range.
Yes, 100% found that adding some loft to the 3wood helped. I'm a lot more confident in it now, can get the ball up in the air a lot easier, and because of that my usage for that club is going up significantly.
Frank, your yardages are very similar to mine. I go 58 53 48 at the bottom of the bag and use the 48 gap wedge for anything from a 110yd, 100 yd, 75yd & 50 yard shots. Even those little bump & runs around the green. Curious as to how you use your 52 and 48 because I’ve found I only use my 53 for two very specific shots that don’t come up very often.
I use my 52 for full swing shots up to 100 yards and half-shots under that yardage. I also use it for lots of chip shots around the green so it’s a pretty versatile club for me. The 48 I mostly use as a gap between the PW and 52. Usually shots in the 110 range.
Frank, do you play the 48 degree at pitching wedge length or down .25 inches at gap wedge length? I have the same lofted PW and wanting to add a 48 to the bag. Curious what you did/ if you have two same length clubs in the bag (PW and 48),
Bold move there with the gap between the 52 and 60. Would love at some point to get a full bag of Titleist. Current irons are Mizuno JPX 900 Tour, but the T100s are beautiful. Everything else in the bag is Titleist.
Definitely a bit of a gap between the 52 and the 60. I've toyed with the idea of putting in a 54 but that would widen my gap between the 48. I like the 52 because it's a full-swing 100 yard club for me, which is a yardage I face often. - Frank
I go PW/52/58. It closes the wedge gap, and let’s you play with a greater variety of shots, especially since you don’t swing full out with the most lofted club. I actually pull PW more often for a 100yd shot vs the 52.
How do you hit irons so short I am close to 30 yards longer with irons with the same swing speed and close to the same spin rates and I play a weaker lofted iron
I don't understand why amateur golfers fit for one brand. Looking at my own I have 4 different brands in my bag, most likely one will go out but still have 3 than. I have Callaway Rogue ST Max LS driver and ST Max 3 wood, right now I have a Cobra RADSPEED 3 hybrid, Mizuno JPX 921 Forged irons 4-pw and 50-55-60 Vokey SM9 wedges with a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 putter. The cobra hybrid might leave the bag as I'm testing with a utility 3 iron and a 5 wood didn't make up my mind yet
Frank, I just replaced my entire bag similar to yours. Except I went with the AMT red shafts to get more height. What shafts did you put on your wedges? The is the last clubs I need to have all Titleist. Forgot to mention, its been 3 months and still waiting for the irons.....
I went with the standard S200 shafts in my wedges, and you're certainly not the only one waiting on equipment. I've heard people talking about huge manufacturing delays across the entire industry because of shipping and supply chain problems. Hope they show up for you soon though!
Your wedge launch is an issue Frank. General rule of thumb optimal launch angle would be half loft of the club. Launching your 52 degree wedge at 33 degrees just shows your are seriously flipping at it.
Happy new year. Put the t200 in the bag myself personally I think they feel better than t100s. Your handicap will be down this year hitting the ball as you do. 👍🏼👍🏼
Between my 3-hybrid and 4-utility I feel like I'm pretty well covered. I prefer to carry more wedges instead of more woods because I find they help me score a bit better having more options from 100 yards and in.
Psyched to kick off 2022 with this WITB setup! Drop your questions in the comments and I'll answer as many as possible! - Frank
Love the set up
Been waiting for this vid
👊🏼🙌🏼
Great video frank! I love what’s in the bag series! Just did my own recently as well 🎉
That towel is badass.
Great video! Which Titleist bag are you using? Players 4?
I’m playing same clubs except I have the t200 in 48 and I have 54,60 as my wedges
Nice vid, always my favorite vid of the year!!! I love WITB!
🙌🏼🙌🏼

Love that idea! I'll give it a try...thanks Ethan!
@@Golficity also, be warned, if you get it a little far back you may thin it so you might have to try a couple different ball positions to dial it in.

I love the t200 best irons I have had IN a long time got fitted kbs tour shafts and 2 degrees flat
Same here, irons should arrive in less than 2 weeks. How have you found them?
@@gregjones2623 been great they look great but have the fergivness and I need that
@@martinwilliams4759 u and me both. I’ll see how I get on with the 5 iron. Might end up T300 but I’ll see how I go. Glad u r enjoying them.
Amazing bag. Tonally dialed in,
🙌🏼
need a scotty
What bag are you using?
Great setup and channel! Who’s your fav golfer?
We have pretty similar carry distances except I play T100-T100S combo and wedges in 46-50-54-58 and play TS2 hybrids for 4-5 and 7w instead of 3h.

Great bag frank!!
🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing...i luv my Titleist irons and I'm thinking abt upgrading as well.
Definitely try hitting the new T-Series and see how they feel. I was very impressed with the improvements when I got fit late last summer.
@@Golficity thank you for the encouragement I will try them. Enjoy the rest of your evening. BTW I'm one of your female viewers 🤗
Frank, how long is the putter after cutting it down?
Gorgeous putter. I’m looking at getting a BB1 putter too. What length did you end up with? Is it similar to a Newport 2?
16.5 is a 4 wood
Hey guys. Fellow mevo owner. Do you mind sharing how far you have the mevo from the ball and how far from the ball to the screen?
Awesome video, a little jealous I must say ...
But when is it time for the SM9 fitting? 🙂
Awesome video Frank! I play the Tensei blue line as well and love it. Out of curiosity what is your height and weight for a reference point?
Enjoyed your video. Keep up your great work bringing us the latest and greatest.
Finally! Happy New Year Boys! Looking forward to 2022!
Happy New Year!
Looks like you guys have some fun after hours in the simulator with the vodka and jager lol. Don't blame you guys, I would be as well ! lol
I seen on your 8 & 7 are similar in distance I can hit my 8 iron further sometimes crazy guess 7 not as forgiving
Yeah, some of that variation in distance is just because I don't always hit my clubs perfectly clean (that would be the dream right! LOL).
I know you’re probably sponsored by Titleist but y’all gotta try some other some other brands imo!
As always, great explanation of why he chose his clubs along with lofts and other adjustments. My favorite yearly WITBs and now awaiting Mike!
Thanks! Mike is up next week.

That’s awesome! Enjoy the fitting! 👊🏼
Frank what grip size are on your clubs?
Being fitted for your clubs greatest thing to come to golf Happy New Year guys can't wait for some playing vlogs . You guys thinking of traveling this winter I hope so
100% agree. New equipment is great but the fittings are worth their weight in gold! Hoping to travel and escape the cold a bit in a few weeks.
4 months now waiting on my T200 irons. Newer irons will probably be out by the time I get them.
Ugh brutal. I got mine in 4 weeks. I went through my fitter though.

Are you going to be changing out the Bettinardi for one of the new 2022 Scotty Cameron’s?
What did we learn here ??? Besides how great your life is.
Happy new year! Can’t wait for the next golf season, suck if the cold already! 🤪 hit em straight!
Same...only January and already sick of winter. Spring can't come soon enough!
Seriously lol
I’m praying I can get a fitting with Titleist before I’m too old to play anymore.

I’d agree, 8* is quite a big difference. 48*-52*-58*, would be my recommendation. But if it ain’t broke……

Shot scope no longer a sponsor?
Hi.
Just had a message I have won a prize. Is it a scam. Thanks
We are not doing any giveaways at the moment so the message you received is likely a scam. Be careful.
Why do you tell everyone you have a 3 wood when clearly it's a 4 wood? Just be honest with the viewers
