Not to take anything away from current and past Prempeh champions but, in my opinion, the best team (2000 NSMQ) Prempeh ever produced WITH OR WITHOUT the title. 90+, 90+, 86 in the respective contests. And not to forget, they had 10/10 (problem of the day) in each contest as well. Very impressive. Big ups to my seniors.
@ayawduah9280, Oduro was an outstanding student. No wonder he is the first to ever record 8As in Ghana. Great to know the others went on to do great things. However, as far as the NSMQ is concerned they cannot be the best team in the hsitory of the competition. You may call them the best team that didn't win. You cannot be the best in a competition when you couldn't win it all. If they are the best team in history what should we call the team that defeated them and went on to win the competition that year? The NSMQ is a science based contest and your conclusion must be supported with facts not emotions. 🙏🏽
@@christianansah6537 I am not sure if your comment was a reply to my original comment. But if it is, I would appreciate if you TAKE YOUR TIME to read my comment before replying because I am very careful with my words. First of all, I said (1) “In my opinion”. And (2) The best team Prempeh ever produced AND NOT THE WHOLE NSMQ. You can decide to disagree if you wish. And (3) I gave some facts regarding scores they had in all the 3 contests: 90 (against Accra Academy), 90-70 against Adisadel and (86-87) against St. Peters. Please note that the problem of the day in all 3 contests they had 10/10 (I hope you understand the significance of that number). Did St. Peters deserve the title, sure they did but you cannot discount what my seniors did and the fact that there has never been any Prempeh batch with this kind of consistency. Take it or leave it. Have a nice day
This is one of the best contest in the history of nsmq. This to me was the final before final ...st peters were the best that year....not surprising they went on to win the contest
Not true Eric. Prempeh was the best that year. It's just hard luck they lost to St Peters. Even as Prof. Ewurama herself acknowledged: "I told myself that Prempeh was the team to beat. It shows how unpredictable sometimes the competition would go". This is not to take away the credit of Persco anyway. They did well that year and they deserved the trophy after beating Prempeh.
@@ayawduah9280 The best always wins. Persco was indeed the best. Consistency is the principle here. Prempeh should’ve been consistent in their “bestness”, perhaps they would’ve won. The race is not for the swift, remember?

Kofi Oduro was also adjudged the best SSSCE Candidate in 2000
