Rolling Drywall Compound on FibaFuse

- Cracked plaster walls can be covered with 3' x 75' rolls of FibaFuse instead of tearing them down if necessary. It is labour intensive but works very well. In this video I show a little bit of the procedure to coating the FibaFuse after it has been applied.
Fantastic instruction! Loving this purpose for it
Thank you so much :)
you are very welcome ! :)
Great to see you!! Hope you will keep putting out continent.
Thank you ! And I will continue to put out content on our continent and others. lol
@@Mudslingr I guess I’m getting to the age where it’s a little incontinent....fn auto correct lol.
Where have you been, you motivated me to start my own business and now im already looking for third employeee :) keep posting you know stuff!
Great to hear you took a leap ! Makes doing videos worthwhile when you read comments like that. I'm trying to do my best with posting more but it's really not that easy when you're alone. A stationary cam is useless most times. I'm not done yet.
Hi Mud Slingr, who carries the most trim tex products in thunder bay?
That would be Nor-Ont Supply at Memorial and the Harbour Expressway.
@@Mudslingr thanks I went there and got some up today!
@@maurzy01 No problem. They have a good selection of Trim-Tex beads upstairs as well as beside the loading door.
@@Mudslingr Are you able to create a video to help me install trim tex 350 chamfer bead and the 90 degree corner adapters? I picked some up and am not sure how to connect the pieces and how my drywall should be butted up when installing. Thanks for all your videos!
@@maurzy01 I will be using some chamfer bead in a month or so. Unfortunately probably not quick enough for you. Stiil might be able to help. Shoot me a message on Facebook and we can talk. Mudslingr Drywall
Is the blue tinted mud special? Never seen it here on the east coast.
It's called Never Miss. Made specifically for drywall mud. An ounce gives the mud colour and allows you to see what kind of coverage your getting.
How did you apply the fibafuse, did you use PVA glue?
Our taping mud has extra glue in it so I do not have to add anything to it. Sticks very well. Watering it down is not a problem. If I thought it might be I would add some Elmers wood glue.
What kind of roller do you use? Ive tried doing this but it seems to drip off the roller pretty bad. Maybe I just need better mud consistency or something though.
I use a 25mm pile sleeve. Not sure of the brand ( I bought it at Dulux Paint ) but it's a type of material that is off white with red streaks in it. I've tried a 30mm pile but it's too much and a 20mm isn't quite enough for my liking.
@@Mudslingr cool, I'll give that a go
@@Mudslingr ...thank you for this info :)
@@mariad4183 It all comes down to how wavy or inconsistent the level of the plaster is. A 20mm would work nicely on a flatter surface but i find that not too many plaster walls are very flat. Smooth yes but not flat. That's why I use a 25mm roller sleeve.
@@Mudslingr I have a few walls to tackle so I'm taking notes! lol Thank you so much
Blue?
Called Taper's Tint. Made for mud. Helps to see scratches and pinholes.
