She was excellent with children and when we adopted her, she was already trained not to lick people. She lived for about 18 years.
Yeah, that's seriously how Dobies play, with their mouths. Mine sharks (what that dobie was doing in the vid) our other dogs and foster puppies all the time. That yelp likely wasn't from pain, but a "hey, stop it!" yelp, which is also totally normal for puppies playing and learning boundaries and bite pressure and limits. Winstons dad was also right to step in and tell the Dobie to stop it. Their job is to dog, our job is to teach them. Our dogs ALL get along great, but I still have to correct them from time to time. I agree! I love Dobes and that one looked just like mine playing -- the dog stopped after the yip/HEY, which is appropriate. My dobie is mouthie too! Her best friend is a 14 lb Pomeranian. She has never hurt him even once - it looks much scarier than it actually is! Such a sweetie.
I think both the dogs and the guy filming responded well. The dobie was likely playing, and the puppy made the sound it's supposed to make when things got too rough, and the dobie did let up. However, it did immediately go back in while the puppy was still on it's back. The puppy then made kind of a half-whine noise, and that's when the mastiff/pit barked and the dobie ran off. Was anything bad going to happen? Maybe/maybe not, but the mastiff/pit wasn't taking that chance, and I don't blame him.

Lost it at dipstick and his goofy face 😂 then when the dog transformed into the pug. I can't 😂
Its good that big brother was there to protect little bro.
Very beautiful video loved it, especially the part after the save! 3:30 ❤️❤️🐾🐕🐾🐕🐾🐶🐶🐶🐶
That dobermann looks like a young one as well needs some guidelines though hopefully the owner can provide that properly!
Winston is like the good protagonist in every movie. Defending the weak and young. Never instigating fights but always standing up to all the bullies. The name Winston suits him perfectly.
I love how Winston occasionally looks back at the camera like Jim from the office
Your dog Winston is such a good boy, I'm very impressed by his temperament! It only goes to show, there's only bad owners not bad dogs! You Sir are a good owner, and both your dogs are well behaved, even though your female Husky likes to press Winston's buttons! LOL
I can't believe the owner of the puppy didn't even step in to protect His/her own puppy from harm. If Winston had not been there to break it up that puppy could've been seriously injured.

Winston the hero
💜💜💜💜💜💜
The owner knew me and Winston were there.... ;)
Had him by the neck. Im sorry i had to threaten a mans dog w death on the spot just cause his sheaperd came at me n my little dog full out n nasty. Picked up mine n pulled out my defence weapon. Lucky he stopped. Leash laws in public r for that reason. ONLY. was ready to defend my self.
If that Dobie wanted to do real harm, it would've
TrueCuLLurz you’ve clearly never owned a Doberman, the puppy was just overwhelmed because it was big and they play rough compared to other breeds, such overreaction...
what a beautiful dogs 🐕! love them both very much 🫶🏽 dogs helping dogs out! 🥰
I gt soooo excited when i get ur notification...love this channel❤👏
Winston is the perfect name for him. A sturdy old man, keeping an eye out for the lil homies, letting the young ones know they're being too much
Winston went “screw off” real quick and the Dober went “oh shit”
What a sweet boy 😭❤️
love this channel❤
Aww hello Winston. Hi owner of Winston thank you for sharing him with us. I think he is wonderful.
Good thing you and Winston were there for that puppy because that Doberman wanted to hurt that poor little guy. Good job to you both.........
Dober's play rougher than most dogs, dobe wasn't being particularly rough at all.
He didnt want to hurt him, this is how some Dobis Play, well i mean mine plays like that and when it gets to Rough i Need to Break his Playing :(
Thats an over reaction. If he wanted to hurt that puppy he definitely would have. Some dogs just play a little rough and dont realize it. We have a huge dobbie at the dog group i take my corgi and chihuahua mixes too and he is a total dream but he is very strong so we keep an eye on him but know he has no desire to hurt any other dogs.
Yeh the dobe was playing. The pup just felt overwhelmed coz he's only little
Dobies play rough, my daughters 2 are ridiculous at times.
You can tell the Doberman is none socialized because of the PRONG collar ! Good job done by the Cane CORSO ! great dogs !
Good to see winston cared yesterday my lil pitbull puppy was attack by someone else grown pitbull as i was walking him they didn’t help me just watched there down attack mine so i grab their dog and slam him head first onto the concrete
Good job.
Awww, I’m sorry your puppy was attacked ;w;
Potato ty he is okay lucky i reacted first he is a pitbull his self but he is only 5 months the dog didnt bark or anything he just ran up and blindsided my dog and instantly grab him
Deee_ Dee Beautiful job on your part. It's a shame when owners leave others to correct the ill behaviour of there dogs. Good job with the slam.
How did the errant owners respond?
Deee_ Dee that’s good! I’m glad your puppy is okay c:
You are clearly experienced in dog body language and energy, I love watching you and your dog Winston, who's a beautiful ambassador for his breeds! You got yourself a subscriber, love your content to help educate other dog owners!
All the comments about Winston don't get me wrong I love him but Dipstick 😂❤
you did such a great job with the editing an music better than most modern box office movies 😂
1:47 That dog look like a Mafia boss.😱
@janis vogel Russian, 100%!
Love it!
Dobbies are the . "my dads a lawyer" of the dog world. Jk jk dobbie people
