LK Mundo Gamer you need to make sure is a protector that is on the rock blowing the horn. I had this problem before, all of then can trap like this but only the plunderers will work for this one.
and i'm too stupid to jump onto a monster (Odogaron as example), i can get on them with my claw, but this seems not to count/work, the gajalaka doodles do not help
PLUNDERERS not Protectors or any other tribe. Zone out and into the rotten vail until you get them. It'll be a green paw on the map and as you approach the look out his speech text should be titled with PLUNDERERS
Conor Moloney yeah sorry about that. Got confused while replying. Plunderers is rotten vale. All factions spawn there and they use the same trap, that’s why it confuses everyone.

i finally made it, i always pressed wrong button after jump :(
@@hansmusterman9937 glad you got it. I was about to ask if they were the plunderers, as all palico tribes can spawn there.

Wreck RS this is a tough one. Make sure the speech bubble says plunderers while they are using the horn. Apparently all the factions can spawn there.
