Patsy is an absolute legend, gone too soon at age 30 in a plane crash. I Fall to Pieces is another classic. My favorite Patsy song has always been Faded Love which was an old country standard that she made hers. Crazy was written by a very young songwriter at the time, Willie Nelson.
Yes! Willie also made his own rendition of the song and while i like it, it doesn't hold a candle to Patsy's. This song is absolutely perfect for her voice and singing style!
She was something else. Such captivating voice. Like you said, she didn't need any dancing or crazy stage show. Just pure talent. She had quite a few hits, but she is another who died far too young. R.I.P, Patsy Cline. You are still collecting new fans after all this time.
lmfao.... my dood got up and ran into the other room.... I have never not known that gorgeous voice in my life! Seeing you see and hear it for the first time is just the best!
Country Royalty!! Gone way too soon. By the way, this song was written by the great Willie Nelson ❤ Please react to her song “Walkin After Midnight” 🔥 Yep, I Fall To Pieces is another great song of hers 😊
Patsy Cline was good friends and an influence on Loretta Lynn...who in turn was good friends with Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton. The timeline in country music, is "crazy"! I love seeing you discover these songs!!
Thanks, Sceez! This song was actually written by Willie Nelson - but Patsy OWNS IT... I hope you listen to more by this classic talent! ... (one of my favorites is "Walking After Midnight)
I feel no one is prepared for Patsy’s voice the first time they hear her. Her voice is so silky. 🎤 She was an amazing, underrated talent. ❤ Willie Nelson wrote this song 🎶 Great reaction!
I’ve literally listened to Patsy’s music my whole life. At 66, even knowing every note headed my way - CHILLS! And God bless Willie Nelson for writing this amazing song!
Patsy was my father's favorite singer. It's so wonderful to see so many people of the younger generations listening to her and enjoying the the beauty of Patsy's singing!
This is one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "She's Got You", "Walkin' After Midnight", "Sweet Dreams", "So Wrong", "Leavin' on Your Mind", "I Fall To Pieces" "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love" etc. She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams". "Home Free" does a great cover of "Crazy".
If Patsy is here, I’m here! I have loved her forever. She even resembles my mother! So I see mom every time I hear Patsy sing! Thanks young man 👵🏼☮️💜. I like it when you go back and listen again! 😎
Nobody will say anything in the comments negative about you skis I think you're an old soul so thank you very much for all that you do, much love and respect from Canada❤
Patsy is such a great talent that we lost way to early! You can't go wrong with her and here are a few of my favorites and popular songs to react to: "Sweet Dreams," "Faded Love," "Blue Moon of Kentucky," "Walking After Midnight," and "I Fall to Pieces." You will not be disappointed!
Someone once said that this song was the most played song in jukeboxes in saloons all over the world. I am sure there is no way to verify that but, it must be true.
One of her most famous! It's actually used in the movie "Field of Dreams," when Ray (Kevin Costner) is in the community's farmer's supply store trying to persuade townsfolk that HE DID NOT hear voices out in his head-high corn. Have a listen to another CW song with the same feeling: "I Can't Help It If I'm Still in Love with You" by Hank Williams Sr. ua-cam.com/video/StyKrwHhWdM/v-deo.html
I live about 20 minutes from Winchester, Virginia where she was born and raised. Also my mother in law would sing her songs on her karioki machine at senior centers. Go south side.
I was a 10 yr old boy. Everyone on the farm and neighbor farms were in tears. 1963, I watched her on TV and heard on radio with parents. I didn't know what was going on.
Geez Louise! .. ANOTHER plane crash God!?! .. What is it about planes, choppers, 'bad weather' and "inexperienced pilots" that seems to intrigue Him? .. I had almost forgot that it was a plane wreck that took Patsy's life also. So damn young too! That is a cool *fun fact* @Dale B .. I did not know that Willie wrote "Crazy" . To all the great ones .. as Neil D. so eloquently wrote down as lyrics in 1970 .. 🎶And each one there Had one thing shared They have sweated beneath the same sun Looked up in wonder at the same moo And wept when it was all done For being Done Too Soon For being Done Too Soon 🎶 RIP 🙏
I Fall to Pieces is great too. Some other early country that's great is Hank Williams Sr. Not Junior. I'm so Lonely I Could Cry, Col Col Heart, and Hey, Good Lookin'. And I'm not actually really a country fan, but I like some of the really old stuff. And Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton are always good.
Back when if you couldn't sing live, there was no hope for you. I think Ed Sullivan might have had lip syncing at one time, and I'm pretty sure Soul Train did, but generally, all of these TV performances that you find on UA-cam are actual live performances. These people could all really sing. If they had an off day and didn't perform well on TV, there was no pre-recorded vocal to bail them out. There were a number of great female artists around this time. Petula Clark and Brenda Lee were 2 other standouts vocally. Nancy Sinatra, daughter of Frank, and her "Boots Were Made For Walking" was another female singer who could get it done live.

It was absolutely fun to share Patsy with you. Neat to find a young man appreciating the music of my youth.... Keep listening and sharing!
She was something else. Such captivating voice. Like you said, she didn't need any dancing or crazy stage show. Just pure talent. She had quite a few hits, but she is another who died far too young.
R.I.P, Patsy Cline. You are still collecting new fans after all this time.
Her vocals were crazy good
Patsy is a legend. ❤❤❤❤❤

Yes!!! More Patsy! I fall to pieces, She’s got you and Sweet Dreams
Patsy Cline singing Willie Nelson. This is cream of the crop stuff. Supposedly she recorded it in one take.
Thanks, Sceez! This song was actually written by Willie Nelson - but Patsy OWNS IT... I hope you listen to more by this classic talent! ... (one of my favorites is "Walking After Midnight)

I'm not a big country fan but this lady had soul. You are reacting to good stuff. Enjoy the ride!
I've Got Your Picture But She's Got You. Walkin' After Midnight, so many great ones. An amazing alto.
One of my all time favorite songs!
This girl speaks to your soul

“Razzle-dazzle the lonely like that”. Best comment in a reaction in a loooong time.
Thank you for showing so much respect for her wonderful voice.
It makes you as special as her voice
Sceez, isn't that a sexy voice? Oh, that woman! The world deserved more from her.
Next you should do Sweet Dreams and I Fall To Pieces.
Someone once said that this song was the most played song in jukeboxes in saloons all over the world. I am sure there is no way to verify that but, it must be true.

The craziest thing is I think this is mid 1950s and still people listening to it.
"Patsy sang that fucker". Indeed.
This is the music from my childhood when you knew mom was cleaning and we was in trouble🤣🤣❤❤
Peace, Love!!
I live about 20 minutes from Winchester, Virginia where she was born and raised. Also my mother in law would sing her songs on her karioki machine at senior centers. Go south side.
I love your reaction and comments to this song. One of my top favorite! Just can’t listen to it to much as it’s just too emotional.
... Crazy🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was a 10 yr old boy. Everyone on the farm and neighbor farms were in tears. 1963, I watched her on TV and heard on radio with parents. I didn't know what was going on.
Thank you for brightening my day per usual. You have such a great energy sir, never change
Some of the best Bertha rhythm playing I seen you do...

Great song
A great movie if you get time is “Coal Miner’s Daughter” the story of Loretta Lynn . Patsy was a part of that generation.
Btw Willie Nelson wrote this song too.
Patsyyyyyy
Patsy!!!
My favorite is "Walkin After Midnight"
A young Willie Nelson wrote this!
When Patsy died in that plane crash they found her wedged into the side of a log with half of her face missing and they couldn't find her feet.😔
You should check out her song sweet dreams
You so crazy 🤣
You need to react to Patsy’s “I’m Back in Baby’s Arms”
LOL. I'm guessing you like it!!!!
I Fall to Pieces is great too. Some other early country that's great is Hank Williams Sr. Not Junior. I'm so Lonely I Could Cry, Col Col Heart, and Hey, Good Lookin'. ❤❤❤❤
❤️
💕💕💕
For a different take on love listen to Loretta Lynn's "Fist City" Think you'll enjoy it.
How have you not reacted to Skeeter Davis - End of the World!!!! You can call her "OK Skeeter Davis", and she's like half of your name!!!!!
✨✨✨
🎶💜🎶
Listen to sweet dreams. Best song ever by her
☮️💙💙💙😍

GOOD REACTION. The mythical man you talked about was her husband who was very abusive to her and cheated on her.
Belly rubbing music
Nice Sceez!
That was the f#cking sh1t 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
