FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable and rare Nickels!

My nickels have been hot this month. I went from no buffaloes in January to 5 from just 4 boxes! I've also gotten 5 proof coins this month, my first ones since October of last year. Only one silver and no book fillers, but I've had a great selection of oldies in comparison to last month

My Dad had over $100 worth 1950's nickels (1950 - 1959). I had no interest in them. Deposited them at Chase. Good luck finding them! Deposited at Flower Mound, TX. Good luck Bro!

Found my second silver coin yesterday, the 1934 no DDO Heavy Motto Quarter. The poor thing has had the reverse really worn down, but the obverse looks alright.

Hard to believe that Buffalo nickels are still being circulated. I guess most people don't look at their change at all, or maybe they think they're a foreign coin. I don't know. What I do know is that many young people, and I mean people in their mid 20's, and 30's who have no clue as to earlier coin designs. Today I watched a video of a man in his mid 20's who's restoring his grandfather's house. He found a wheat cent, and a mercury dime. He'd never seen those before, then he read e pluribus unum on one of them. He had no idea what that meant. This is a smart young man, but it's difficult for me to imagine just how little young people know about America today. 😮😢
I hear you. It makes me wonder what they are teaching in schools…
@RobFindsTreasure I'm not sure teaching is the correct terminology today. Indoctrination is more accurate. When children don't know what bathroom they should be using. We've got a real problem. What's worse is the school systems are the proponents for the gender dysphoria, and the government is backing it up by allowing boys in girls locker rooms, and to compete in girls sports.
When I was in school in the 70's and if word had reached my dad that a boy was dressing out and showering with the girls, or any of my sisters. Oh my Lord. I won't even say what I think he would have done. I've gone off track here, I better stop, before I say what I really think.

To qualify for full steps the coin must be MS which is not going to be easy to find in a circulated box.
Nice 51s and 53d those are in good shape, since I started hunting more nickel boxes this year I've found 2 - 50p's, 2 - 55p's and just found my first 39s and I've found 16 war nickels so far.

BTW, why aren’t you upgrading coins from series 1 and using those for series 2 and later?
Series 1 was sold to a subscriber years ago!

99% sure the dateless Buffalo is a 1921. The bend in the left ribbon and the hair detail just above the band are the telltale signs.

I have a question.
I picked up 4 rolls of dollar coins from my bank and they were all uncirculated presidential dollars. I open them up to realize that they were not all the same presidents. I ended up with 11 different presidents, and 46/100 dollar coins were NIFC, 2012 or older. The bank still has a whole lot more dollar coins, should I go back and get the rest?

Are non-nick-a-dated slick buffaloes worth more than ones with the date revealed?
My first half dollar box I got 29 slivers. 28 40% and 1 90% from 1960D. I live in idaho and I got it from us bank. What state do you live in. My rolls are loomis. Love your videos
