It's a very good habit to begin a playing session with some warm-ups. I appreciate your demonstration, but I wish you had stuck to a ten minute warm-up using the motions you demonstrated. I practice on my conga about one hour every day, and that's a big chunk of time given our busy lives. I could manage a 10 minute warm-up, but no longer than that. We do what we can.
What are your thoughts on playing or clapping very slow..30bmp.without sub division to really test your timing..I do this first and find it really useful... great videos 😁🎤
Thank you, my first warm up. Man that was hard. Will be practicing warm up from now on.

Great vídeo Kalani. Thanks!
Kalani ...... You are an awesome hand drummer, so relaxed and smooth. I love your approach, very inspiring.
This felt great!
Very useful video. We all need a good warm-up before playing or practicing.
Thanks Kalani !
Glad you like it.

That was great! Thanks so much.

Sounds like a good exercise. There's something mentioned like that in the Victor Wooten book, The Music Lesson. Highly recommended.
Man, I'm out of shape! :D
Could u do a dun dun warm up video?
This should work for just about any drum. Just translate the movements to whatever you're playing.
I warm up with Mario Brothers, could you show me your version of Mario Brothers on the Djembe
I can add that to the "to do" list!
@@WORLDDRUMCLUB bloody oath it sounds good

My opinion: If you need someone to tell you how to warm up, you may not be a drummer! 🐏🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🦖
My opinion: let's hear something other than talking!! Lol
