My wife and I enjoy this immensely it's one of the best river adventures I've ever seen thank you, and my wife and I enjoy all of your videos on both channels don't stop
This vid brings back memories! The Pit river in NorCal. My dad was a PG&E employee. PG&E had all of these little employee campgrounds. We used to go and stay at Camp Pitt for years. Bring Semi Truck innertubes, walk up to the base of the dam and float through the rapids back down to the camp trailhead. Back then it was pretty easy.. Now they have waay higher discharge levels. Class Three + rapids. This was back in the mid/late 70's.
This is probably one of my favorite videos. I used to float through there 1 or 2 times a year and it's so stunning. Thanks for bringing back memories. ❤
You can tell there were some beautiful fishing spots along that wicked river. Too bad you never got to stop and cast into some. But those rest stops at least allowed you enjoy the time on that great adventure.
Rogue River.. A family I grew up with down here in Central California.. The Crandalls. I have known Debbie for years. Her older brother, Donnie, has been a Rogue river whitewater rafting guide/surf kayaker for decades.
Outstanding! I suspect you wanted to fish a bit more...Another Top Shelf Presentation ! Yes, a tad envious ! ( my project van is still under repair/ construction)
Getting out of bed in the morning can be dangerous. In the west we have so many great opportunities for outdoor adventure. My wife and I have paddled sea kayaks in the San Juan Islands, paddled our canoe in rivers and lakes in the region and beyond, rafted several rivers, hiked and camped in the High Desert Cascades and Olympic Peninsula. Our prime activity is exploring Central Oregon with our 4wd and " camping" in our Imperial Outdoors X 195 travel trailer. You and let life pass you by or live life. We try to live good every day. Keep up the good work.
Really, what a wonderful trip. Kudos to Jimmy, Teresa, and Jimmy’s dad. We almost pulled the trigger on a similar trip last week, through the Santa Elena Canyon of the Rio Grande,in Big Bend N.P. and Big Bend Ranch State Park, Texas. Next time for sure.
Ran the Rouge, sole, in one day, in my kayak back in '77. Then in the 80's Fred and Brian and I kayaked it in October. It rained the only night we were on the river. Stayed in a cabin with 3 walls gone. The next morning stopped at the Zane Gray cabin. Wet and muddy, the owner, Walter Hass (owned Levi Straus) invited into the main house for hot drinks. His wife made us hot chocolate, tea and coffee.
Jason without a Helmet 🪖 I guess your gonna be the crash dummy 😂 This is so different from you as far as camping goes. I’m really enjoying this video although I had to hold my breath a few times. Just crazy and dangerous at the same time! Loving it👍🏽❤️
