Getting too gimmicky. So basically a stock V4 with factory Bolt-on’s a lipstick job and a premium price. Gotta do better for a tribute to an iconic bike Ducati. Btw, own the r and pikes peak. Love them both but not a fan of Ducatis milking of old stock platform as of late.
You could make a case that a 916 anniversary should be a 916cc motor but realistically it would be cost-prohibitive. IMO the marketing of this bike was genius. I had been considering buying a StreetFighter, but when I saw this was being released, I jumped on it since I grew up lusting over the original 916.
Noted…it’s just hard to believe that the manufacturer comes miles off the target compared to Dotto Creations and Danilo Petrucci colab in creating a true tribute. You should check it out. I think that their designs is classy and honors the OG 916.

You really gotta pop it into first gear to hear all 4 cylinders, just turning it on in neutral, you're only hearing two cylinders because of cylinder deactivation...!

Love these videos but…. this bike has no convincing visual link to the 916. Disappointing Ducati. (I currently own a V4 streetfighter so love Ducati, and was riding when the 916 came out.)
More Ducati hype - another money making con. Years ago this bike would of been carbon fibre throughout including the panels. Now you just pay for the paint scheme. Save you money and buy Youssef a 916 SPS or a 996 R or a 998 r
I prefer the recent race replica's especially the Bagnia one.
a stupid bike that should have never been made!! if they wanted to do something special for Carl they should have built a limited Edition 996RS customer version with Foggy graphics
