Thank you, great video. I do have a question. Just bought the pro series for a ‘14 sequoia and it seems the install will be the same. When you were in the fuse box did you transfer the red 10 fuse into your new part before adding the new part to the fuse box or did you just remove the red 10 altogether? You made a comment about it but I didn’t quite follow. Also for feedback, even though it’s plug and play, would have been nice to see you connecting each wire. Thx in advance or for the video!
You add the 10A to the plug. It comes with a 5A so take the 10A out of the fuse box and plug it in next to the 5A on the plug. Then plug it into the fuse box. I, by mistake took the 5A out and just put in the 10A to the plug and my Tundra would not start up!
Are the yellow blinker lights illuminated when the low beam is on? I installed mine, and the yellow blinker bulb is on when i have low beam on. Just wondering if that's just how they are.
You do plug the yellow wire into the driver's side headlight and you plug the truck blinker wire into the black and the gray plugs to the headlights the yellow wire makes its so your 4ways work when the truck is off and your drl and blinkers work when you lock it and makes the drl work as the blinker
Plugging in the yellow cable turns on the “welcome home” function allowing the DRLs to sequence on when unlocked and stay on for 30ish seconds when locking the truck. At least in my experience
Hello man, I have a quick question on the drl on the headlights. I got these headlights in December and when I installed them and put them on. The drl don’t turn on during the day only at night. Do you have the same problem or if you know how to fix it? Please and thank you 🙏🏼
You will need to use the DRL harness and connect it via the ADD a fuse into the Ignition slot in your fuse box, that way the DRL's will come on as soon as you start your truck.
@@GearheadJT I put the harness of the drl to the fuse box but it only turns on whenever the sensor in the dash, marks night time and that’s when they come on with the low beams. Idk what’s wrong with the wiring
Hi, Nice video but one thing need to correct is that the black and grey plugs from the light you mentioned they need to plug together but actually they are bridging the signal plug and signal light, so you need to unplug the signal light from the plug and connect them to them to the black and grey plugs correspondingly such that you will have a running signal light.
For the power/ground on the DRL harness, the best way is to disconnect the little bolt on the positive (red) and sandwich the power cable in there and tighten down, for the ground (black) I always prefer to add it to the chassis with the rest of the ground wires, it will be right next battery on the chassis.
Had Alpharex Pros with level adjusters in a 2010 . Worst lights I ever bought. DRL's are weak to start with but after only a month the top driver side drl went super dim. Contacted them , wanted me to ship that light back and sent me a new one. New one lasted only days before the same issue. Texted with the customer support they had & went thru everything on the install to make sure there was no issue on my end. Long story short ... these are known issues with the Alpharex 2nd gen Tundra models.. Come to find out it's the boards and they stopped selling my particular model. Instead of finding a legitimate way to fix the problems & replace my lights that were under warranty still.. they wanted to send me a new circuit board to replace inside the light. I'm not that savvy. And that's what they were doing. Getting bad ones back because they had no new ones, replacing the boards and sending them back out as "new" replacements to the next guy with the same problem. Do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks and buy Morimotos or get the OEM Sequoia leds and what's needed to fit them.
Installed these on my 12 Tundra last week. The LED strips looked white and awesome. Today, since I had some time I installed the harness. Now the LED strips look "douchebag" orange/amber instead of white, wtf? Short of ripping the stupid harness out again, how can I make the LED strips light up in white rather than that stupid orange color ( I thought the purpose of the harness was to modify the intensity of the LED strips only, and NOT change it from white to orange)? Any advise would be much appreciated!
@@MrMikeyprats Nah, I decided to simply unplug the harness I had spent the time to install per instructions. I liked the fact that the harness install enabled the LEDs to come on as DRL's while in Auto mode, but I couldn't deal with the fact that the cool white LED's turned into douchebag amber LED's. So for now I'm stuck without DRL's which I'm cool with. Contacting Alpharex got no response whatsoever making me think they don't give a shit and don't have a fix for this crap. Sorry Bro, that's all I got. I still like the headlights a lot compared to the OEM fugly headlights but they should've made sure the LED's don't turn into that orange shit!
Ok so they told me to unplug the grey connector from the flat black connector and connect the buld with the connector from factory together and the factory grey connector to the black flat connector if that makes sense
One of the worst headlights I’ve own. Can’t adjust for crap. DRL goes dim on one side and sometime goes out! Literally have to smack it hard for it to come back on. Light output is horrible! Spend the extra$$$ and get Morimotos..
I see these are still available and quite pricey still. Has anything new come up for a 2007 or is now just simple LED bulb do the trick?

Is there any way to wire the drls so they're always at full power?
Anyway to make it blink instead of the sequence light?
you seem to cover almost everything but the most important thing..are these lights compatible with auto levelling function ??
Yes they are, these have the auto leveling motors like the OEM ones which were removed.
Thanks for the info… now is my turn to get my tundra looking fresh…the lights are primo

How do you do the Horizontal adjustment? I can't figure it out on mine.
Do these lights delete the auto leveling function?
What sort of equipment do you use to film with
I ordered the same exact ones. Why are my lowbeans not bright white like yours?
