- Comparing the cinematic video mode on the iPhone 14 Pro with a DSLR.
Pretty awesome how similar they can look in certain situations.
Which do you prefer, both for quality and convenience?
#Shorts
Clearly A is the DSLR
& B is the Iphone.
The edge detection says it all
Shut up, you are correct we know that B is the iPhone.
Yea
The aouto focus too
A iphone
Didn't even need to check the edges, the skin tone speaks loud.
Watching this at 360p: Yes both are DSLR
😭Not only do your videos make me laugh but your comments too?
Dude u are everywhere
Look at his face
😂😂😂😂😂
It's not about resolution
A - DSLR
B - iPhone
Reason :- The DSLR camera on the top is more saturated and quality looks similar to the iPhone but when zoomed in it looks better on the iPhone the colours are less saturated, and when zoomed in, it's a bit blurry
Actually its not about colour u can see the easy difference between his arms u can definitely tell which is which
Bokeh effect on iphone seems weird whereas it's perfect on dslr
It's not about the colour, it's about the blue effect, iPhone uses the edge detection principle to take things into focus or out of focus, while a camera (depending about the focal length of the lens) focuses the subject and Blurs the background (which is natural, the iPhone one seems fake)
Ya its not about the colour we can easily identify the blur near his hair there is huge difference
A dslr , B is iphone
My right ear enjoyed this video
how it was done?

IPhone portrait👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼🤣😂😂
I phone 😂
@@akashroyarts 😁😂
wrong, A is iPhone and B is dslr
@@sanaumar8536 B is iPhone, look at his arms. The fake bokeh is over done.
Everything is fine but i was in fear thinking my headphone is not working 😂
Yeah mine too
😂
I had to recheck lol
Same 🤣🤣
A is dslr having a natural background blur with great edge detection
No need of edge detection in dslr. Edge detection is used to mimic the effect of lens
A is DSLR because the background blur is more natural and edges are sharp.
The B is a little bit choppy if you look carefully his hair is a little bit blurred and it just looks like the blur is just leaking on his head so that's 100% iPhone
Wowww. You really are a genius.
edge detection : hold my Bokeh.
Nice 😂
Dammm good one😂
I feel like B (iPhone) relies on AI processing rather than actually focusing on the subject. The background looks like it's being blurred by a computer program rather than being blurred as a result of the lens actually focusing on the foreground.
Lol, although I neither have a dslr nor iPhone 14 pro, I can definitely say A is dslr and B is the latter one!
A is cleary a dlsr. Look at the crisp edge. But its stunning how far phones have come
If you wanna know which one is shot with which always look at the hair. Almost 100% of the time the AI will clip the hair so A. Dslr B. Iphone. Until they figure out how to not clip the hair and also not over sharpen the image, it would be a perfect replacement.
Can't turn off depth of field in iPhone?
@@abrasionthermals9172yes but then it would be even easyer to tell because then only the dslr shot would have depth of field.
@@abrasionthermals9172 not in portrait mode
I know I'm late, but A is clearly the DSLR,
The digital bg blurring between your arms are disappearing when you're waving it
A - DSLR
B - iPhome
Because, most tripods generally put iPhone over the camera 😉
B is the iPhone because you can see the background blur is kind of scattered if you look close enough
I did look close enough. What are you talking about?
If A is an IPhone then I am Elon Musk
You are elon musk
You are not 🤭
Who’s gonna tell him he’s not
Musk must be your dad?
Sorry to say bro you are not😅
Doesn't matter which one is DSLR
I am impressed by how similar the quality has gone, there is hardly any difference remaining(for general use cases).
Smartphone cameras have anyway took up market.
Nope. Quality still sucks. It's the colouring and fake blur which makes iphone Cinematic look cool. But actually it's not. It can't never match the resolution and quality of a camera.
Edge detection on iphone says it all
A is iphone, very distinct and sharp contrast edge detection of the object in motion. And, usually wide-angle in cinematic mode.
B (DSLR) ... at 50mm, will be a direct shot ... the size of the subject will be the same as you view it.
Wrong
Chutiya mil gaya Jo A ko iphone or B ko dslr batara hai😂😂
A is dslr
B is iPhone 13 also are u using green screen?
Nah bro iPhone 13 and 14 has cinematic mode.
A: DSLR. B: iPhone
A is dslr. Specular highlights through the tree leaves are formed by aperutre shape, on iPhone B highlights are artificially blurred and not pressent at all. Othervise the quality on such small resolution is hard to judge. Dslr has worse colour accuracy, face is to yellow.
Bro made me realize that i am wearing my headphones wrong , i should wear it properly so my right ear also enjoys the video
He had to use the 50mm lense at the smallest aperture to match the iphone
A - DSLR
B - iPhone
A dslr
B IPHONE
Looks like B - dslr, because the 50mm will produce smooth even background blurness
Finally, the right answer. 👏 👏 👏
A is DSLR for sure
B has issues with edge cutout on the hair so it's theniphone
A-DSLR
B-iPhone
TIP: To get the perfect background blur on the iPhone, use cinematic mode at f6.3 since it gives most natural results and it works like a. charm (Been using it on iPhone 15 Pro Max)
A million dollar question 😆
Nah its way to easy
A is iPhone and B is Dslr y?
Coz the highlight are more controlled in B than A since you don't have that much control on iPhone compared to Dslr
Look at the blurred edges on b 💀 Camera don't do that buddy
I don't see any camera 😅
The edge detection, the focus adjusted says that clearly A is the dslr
dose any one hear this in only one ear
No..
yeah the audio’s unbalanced
Yes .. the left channel is muted
Please do this again with ProRes on and cinematic mode off. Cinematic mode always messes up the edges.
A is camera u can see the clarity and sharpness
A DSLR
B Iphone
-You have an outline around you.
-The blur doesnt increase with the distance of the objects in the background, everything has the same level of blur.
-Your skin is more saturated
But the iphone does a pretty good job. No ordinary person should think about these differences.
Why is the Audio just on the right Channel. Please put the Audio on both channels
So that people like you will point out the obvious in comments and engagement on his channel sky rocket.
@@colephelps7321 yeah; I unsubscribe immediately
A - DSLR
B - iPhone
You can crearly see background quality beter for A from the start, also some colors look more rich and sharp.
I don't have both but A is definitely dslr
A DSLR of course
Yehhh! I know that the first one is DSLR option A and B is the iPhone😎
A is the DSLR, clear as day
Both are either same dslr camera or iPhone because the background people who is walking in both videos same how can this is possible in two different camera and phone😮
Camera is kept aabove the iphone see the frame difference
Your hair is just so perfect
The edge detection sucks so bad at B. The edges on A are so perfect.
I've seen so many camera samples of iphone 14PM and I can clearly say
A-Iphone
B- DSLR
A-iphone
B-DSLR
Due to its colour and the focus adjusting range
The edge detection has it’s choice of B being the iphone obviously
Easy A DSLR, we need to stop pretending that phones can produce the same, in set situations a phone will do really well, but if you know how to use a DSLR or mirror less camera, a phone is no competition
B is iphone but, with yt compression, its pretty close
That edge detection told me😂
Iphone has software effect. DSLR uses actual lens to focus and create effect. Which leads to sharper image quality and overal better look.
B is iPhone I think because professional camera does not do wrong on blueing the background
B is iPhone 14 Pro❤️🔥
Edges answers everything
A is DSLR as it gives more shallow depth of field as compare to B
A DSLR ❤
A is I phone because of a little hard AF and bokeh, B is dslr as it has more smoother and grafuall blur effect and also natural.
B is the iPhone for sure
I don’t know which one is which, but both are similar to each other.
Its very obvious b is iphone. Just look at the blur focus, you can see he is blurred somewhat on his body, and A is normal smooth DSLR.
Headphones users must been relieved after watching this
You’re recording on two cameras but didn’t bother using both left and right channels for the audio?
Clearly B is the DSLR. Every DSLR pro user knows this
Obviously A.
Color, lighting and edge detection
B looks heavily processed, A looks raw and crisp so it's the DSLR, and the be is the iphone
A is iPhone
B IS 50MM LENS, THE DEPTH CLEARLY SHOWS IN THE BACKGROUND, I FEEL IPHONE IPHONE CANNOT ACHIEVE THAT MUCH BACKGROUND BLUR
A . Fridge
B . Cooker
B is the phone I think because of the subpar edge detection. Could be wrong.
A Dslr video sample
B iPhone 14 pro camera sample
Question is which iPhone? 13. 14. 15 ?
A- dslr(natural portrait view)
B-iPhone (artificial portrait)
I think the sound of right ear track is missing
A phone is a phone
..a phone will never beat a camera
A DSLR 🎉 OF COURSE
DSLR camera make a raw file that need to be "develop" with proper software . Phones make photos already developed. DSLR camera make much better images if you are able to use them.
A iPhone right answer I use
The shallow rolloff of the Bokeh gave away the DSLR and that's the 'A' video
B is the iPhone
The B is about iphone and A is about the camera DSLR
It’s obvious but just if u look closely on my small screen… but iPhone does a good job!
B is the iPhone but it is getting too close to a DSLR bokeh from another 5 or 10 years would be dangerous
my right ear loved this video
A phone
B DSLR
i think focus in lens slower
The age detection, nature blur, depth, obviously A is DSLR
B is dslr because the background blur is good
A is iPhone because the background blur is little bit bad
Both are good ❤
B is iphone the hair is the easy giveaway point for cinematic mode
A DSLR 😊
B is the iPhone bc the cinematic mode is with ai which blur the background but it’s part of u too bc the ai doesn’t work well
A is iPhone,B is camera
When you just look under his arms when he moves you can see the blur failing
A is DSLR and B is iPhone. The focus time to blur ratio says it all.
IPhones Edge Detection is that Bad?
ok but why did u put all sound to the right side......it's annoying
You can see the dynamic range is visible in dslr A
B is definitely iphone but i dont like the blur that iphone putted in back of you
Any photographer knows that edge detection in A is much better making it the dslr don’t get me wrong both look pretty good but it’s the simple things like that for us that are the dead giveaway
I know the B is iPhone but isn’t it just mind blowing how it’s a phone we are talking about that records with about the same quality as a DSLR camera? And it’s even cheaper. Wow…
