You are brilliant thanks so much for this you had me and my husband in stitches
@@romancartwright5971 here to entertain the troops!
Thank you for this. I have just set up my lazy spa for the first time. 👍 very helpful
Hi so I've shocked mine and after 2 hrs it all high on the strip my question is do I have to wait 24 hrs till I can use pH minus or use it on first test
Many thanks .
@@lewissimmons2749 what the 'proper' procedure is on that I am not sure, but I just use it as needed. Works for me. Go easy with it though, you don't want to put too much in at once and then end up putting in pHplus, lol
Thank you so much, this is the first time I got the readings right, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions without the faff. kep them coming mate, you are the best.
Absolutely love your videos. Clear, easy to follow, no crappy background music. Good job you don’t live next door; I’d be round every 5 minutes for advice 😀
Awesome, thank you!
Your Chemical Guide is probably the best instructions I've seen in a long while. These tubs are not cheap and using chemicals, you just don't want to mess it up. Thank you! 😊
Thank you Melanie. It's quite a balancing act really. We want a pleasant experience and no skin problems. At the same time we don't want to ruin the fabric of the tub with the chlorine, nor be wasteful with it.
Excellent instruction guide! Straight to the point, nice and clear. Thank you! All pros and cons explained simply. Recommend this guys video when you are a hot tub newbie. Went straight out into my garden and everything fell into place after watching this.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, Lesley
Best guide to using lazy spa!!So clear!
Can’t thank you enough, for putting these videos together, made the whole process, straight forward!
Thanks, I'm happy about that.

Thank you to a new lazy spa user ! Explained well and easy to follow. Thank you👍🏽😎
You're welcome!
Just setup my spa for the the first time this has saved me endless hours…..many thanks. Keep these going!
You're welcome!
This is the first video I found that actually made sense and explained timings and amounts properly! Thank you so much!!
Thank you
I agree!
just wanted to say a big thank you for this video, set up a lay-z-spa for the first time last night and this made the whole process so much easier.
Thanks Cherry, glad you found it helpful
Really useful to me as an absolute spa beginner. Thank you. Looking forward to your maintenance video!
That'll be a few weeks away, but it is in the planning stage 👍
Thanks explained in a simple to understand way, not jargon, cheers 👍
Thanks, Munesh. That's what I aim for. I want my videos to be 'accessible' to all, so I try to call things by their proper name, but at the same time keep 'jargonese' down to a minimum. It especially helps those for whom English is a second or even third language (Hispanics in Central America or the US for example who speak Spanish or Portuguese first).
Honestly, thanks so much. We are so grateful to you. You explained everything so idiot proof. Well done x

Got my hot tub today and as a novice found this video a great help.
Just waiting for the next video on running costs. Cheers mate.
Awesome, thank you!
Keep putting these same ones on so I remember next spring. Thankyou
👍
Thankyou for all your hot tub videos. They've been a life saver for me while setting my new one up yesterday. 🙏
Thank you! Thank you!! This was so incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos 🤗
You are so welcome!
Another quality video so helpful your videos they’ve really helped us from putting the lazy spa up to cleaning the spa.
Brilliant 👍
Thankyou so much , Your right the bestway manual doesn,t explain what we need to know , you have helped me a lot .
In a word: Brilliant!! Thanks and Great Job!
This is by far the single most useful hot tub video I have watched, thank you very much!
Awesome. Thank you.
Just filled out new spa and needed a bit of help adding the chemicals. Thanks for such a clear tutorial. Really helpful and I say to follow. Now off to sort out our spa and looking forward to using later on!
Thanks Emma
I just got the same hot tub. This video has been a god send. Thank you.
Welcome aboard ✔
I bought a hot tub last week and haven't used any of the instructions for it - I've watched your videos instead 😊 They have been so helpful 😊
Great to hear Gemma, thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for your great video. Clear and simple explanations. Got mine set up and heating right now. Happy Easter
You’re amazing!! Thank you for making it so easy! ❤️
I would agree, but I'm biased 😂😂
Thank you - good fun advice.
Thanks for this video, helped me massively! My hot tub is now had its initial chlorine shock treatment and waiting 2 hours with a coffee!
Excellent, well done
Just got our 1st one best video I've watched, thank you xx

You sir, are an excellent instruction video maker. Thank you very much.
Brilliant.
If I weren't so modest, I'd have to agree 😂
Thank you so much! I was so confused how to take care of my spa! You made it so easy! Cheers!
Great to hear!
Thanks for the step by step, the first chlorine video to make sense. 🙂
That's good, I normally talk gibberish 😂
Excellent instructions made everything so easy
Thanks Kerry, glad you found it helpful
Just filling ours up and this video was very helpful, thank you.
Wonderful!
Thank you for your videos! Very happy now ❤️
You are so welcome!
Great video, helped me out loads with my setup
Can I just say a massive thank you for these videos helped me no end 👍👍❤️
Great help thanks
THANKS, Appreciate all three videos 👍👍
Glad you like them, thanks Noel
Love this man…. Can’t go wrong
Thank you, Helen.
Thank you!
This was really helpful, thanks. Looking forward to your next video on how to save on electricity.
If you've filled it with warm water to start with (ua-cam.com/video/nZew9F8dv6s/v-deo.html) then you've already made the really 'big' saving. Heating water with gas is about 30% cheaper than using electricity (in the UK). After that it's about cutting the 'losses'
Very clear instructions mine due Tuesday thanks a lot better than reading instructions
Glad it helped
Great instructions. Thanks .
You are welcome Chris.
Amazing helpful review thanks so much xx
Thanks
This is great thanks!
Your video is fantastic, very clear and really helped me. Great stuff 😊
Great to hear! Thanks
Just ordered a hot tub, this is so helpful thanks.
Excellent, do let us know how you get on
Very enjoyable series!
Yea I love hot tubs too
Hired a hot tub for the family and the instructions that came were not great…this really helped a lot!!! Thank you so much!
has hiring given you a taste for one of your own?
@@AbouttheHouse0 it was great, but more of a treat. I think if we purchased one we may not use it as much as we think… we would definitely hire one again in the future.
Superb set up video
Thanks for making this video you explained things so clearly followed ur video my spa is all sorted .keep up the good work
Most welcome 😊
Very helpful thanks.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP MATE😊
Thank you just got our 1st hot tub spa today for the kids and your instructions have been a great help thank you
Thank you, too. I bet the kids love it, eh?
@@AbouttheHouse0 aye, i cant keep them out of it and ive missed a week of work due to sunburn lol
Love these videos, thanks! I set up my St Moritz yesterday and I'm filling it up today after I get home.
Have fun! I reckon you're looking at 2 1/2 to 3 hours to fill❗ 1200 litres is a lot of water.
Let us know how you get on
@@AbouttheHouse0 Thanks! Got it filled up today and added all the chemicals. Thanks for the instructions :)
@@xingoo4435 awesome, good job. Let's hope you can enjoy it over the weekend.
Thank u great video 😊
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Great, very Informative and easy, clear Instruction
Glad you think so!
So useful thank you so much.
You're very welcome!
this was great information got mine spot on
I absolutely love your videos! We are soon to be setting up our Miami LZS and your advice has helped so much, thank you 🙏🏻 😊
It's so gratifying to get comments like yours. Thanks for watching and the kind words. 👍🎓
I like your bar too! 🤣
Nicely shown
These are excellent videos. I am a person who like to learn through seeing and doing. Having just bought a Lay-z-Spa I have found it so easy to set up after watching your videos.
Yeah, I like to glean some prior knowledge whenever I can before doing something new.
This has been really helpful for us! We are struggling to maintain chlorine levels - would be great to see follow up video discussed on longer term maintenance and keeping costs low.
I've done one on costs of running the tub, but "as it comes". I've been looking for a suitable insulation product/cover, but there isn't much available.
ua-cam.com/video/faXmTUEuEiM/v-deo.html
chlorine levels drop over time so if its on the high side then you will suffer skin complaints if you use it so if its low just add a shock treatment to the water and wait 24hrs and test. we dont bother testing anymore as we have a routine and every other day we use the spa so just pop a shock treatment in after use and then go back to it 2 days later and the levels are ok.water quality may differ for different areas so you need to find what works for you and frequency of your useage
You are amazing Thankyou xxx
Great video helped me a lot setting up our new tub
Great to hear!
Very informative video, I will be treating my 10ft easy set pool as opposed to spa. I have been searching for simple videos which was relatively difficult to find. From this I have managed to get the foundations of water treatment but will double check the differences between pools and spas
The biggest and obvious difference is that pools do not need quite as much chlorine. Please let us know how you get on and what you find.
Great video 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for this video and your other Lay Z Spa videos as well. The instructions with the spa would have to be some of the worst I’ve ever encountered! You’re a life saver!
Glad it was helpful!
Cheers, thanks for the video, it was a great help to me!
Fantastic. Thanks for that feedback, Bryan. 👍
this is the reason why I am hesitate to get a hot tub, too complicated, great video, thanks
Wish I’d seen this a fortnight ago - my little boy got a skin infection from our hot tub! This was much easier to follow than the given instructions. I’m gonna empty our tub and start again - thanks
Did starting over do the trick? If it didn't, it might be worth switching from chlorine to bromine. Here's a blog that might be helpful if you're considering that
www.thecoverguy.com/en-gb/backyard-blast/bromine-vs-chlorine/
Helped me a lot.
Welcome aboard, Elizabeth 👍
Cheers for the help👌
You're welcome, Dave.
Thank you for the videos, they are so useful. As you mentioned the manual is not very clear! many thanks!

Thanks, alze. see you in the spring
@@AbouttheHouse0 I'm back, filling up the tub this evening, will be adding the chemicals shortly ! thanks again for this video !
Another great video 👍
Thanks again! ✔
Very helpful and clear. Much better than American alternatives
Thank you v helpfull
I live in a hard water area and after filling my Miami hot tub the pH and total alkalinity were off the chart. I had the chemical starter kit and instructions said to add 1.5 teaspoons of pH minus daily until levels were correct. I added 1.5 teaspoons and nothing happened, later added another 1.5, still no change. I found a guide and calculator online that said I need around 100g (14 teaspoons) to fix the levels. I added this large quantity and bingo! Everything was in the right spot. If I had followed the instructions in the kit it would have taken 10 days to get it right.
If you live in an area with chalky hard water and be aware that you may need to add a lot of pH minus to bring down the alkalinity.
Thanks for sharing that, I'm sure others will find it useful.
Thank you! Same problem.
My hot tub is so easy to maintain now with much thanks to you and your excellent video (no black mark😁)
Awesome, thanks Jon.
cheers dude! now know what to do
Awesome, thanks Scott
Wish I saw this yesterday…. I just installed mine , with horrendous instructions. Asked my sons to help …. Na useless !!! I have just subscribed, you make it very easy to follow , will definitely by the pump to empty it for sure . Thank you 😊
And I agree with all your thoughts about the packaging , it was hard tearing plastic off the main body of tub , with arthritic hands .
Glad I could help. Well done to you. I might try to put this in front of Bestway soon, see if it initiates any changes.
Great video!! I’ve saved this as I forget every single year what I’m doing haha
Lol. I do exactly that with my own videos 😂😂
