Al's Vinyl Collection is my way of sharing my passion with the world. I welcome all, if you're an avid Vinyl record enthusiast or just a passer-by, come and sit with me for 15 minutes to talk about the golden age of music. A civilised format from a more civilised time.

Black album is full of gems
Fact! Maybe the best metal album made... Cowboys From Hell may equal it. Maybe...
If you wanna start slow, try Fade to Black, Orion, One or The Unforgiven. Keep Rocking my man 🤘
Awesome! Thanks very much for the songs, I've put them on the list! Very greatly appreciated :)
Fear not! Their harder stuff is even more technical, the lyrics get even deeper, and the adrenaline just adds a nice touch!
Metallica is a band that is definitely best to begin at the beginning, as 90s Metallica is entirely different from 80s Metallica. Most start with the black album, so I get it, but Kill 'Em All is the first, and Master Of Puppets is their apex (third album.) The Black album (5th album) was their commercial breakthrough, but not their best work. Still very good, just not nearly the edge or creativity that was lost when Cliff Burton died.
I think the black album is by far their best work, but I do agree that one shouldn't skip the first four albums, each amazing in it's own right.
@@UncleUncleRj Subjective of course and to each their own. I definitely prefer their more progressive/creative, less radio-friendly music to the post 'Justice albums.
Unforgiven and no leaf clover are good picks I'm glad I found your channel 🤘🎸
Metallica has that iconic sound that has stayed for decades, although this album has to be one of the most out of style like the 80's albums, this definitely put them into the mainstream but, to segue to a completely different note, I think Sevendust is an amazing band and I don't think they get enough attention especially their grand song, Black, im sure you'll love those guys also. You should definitely listen to Metallica's earlier work. Keep rocking brother
Some have mentioned that Metallica changes through the decades, and this is true - I find their sound and tone (musically and lyrically) changes from album to album.
When you listen to them, do take note of the album the song comes from - you'll soon start to build an understanding of how they evolved, and it helps tell their story as a band.
And, first time viewer here - sub'd right away, I could tell you were engrossed in just listening... you'll have a repeat visitor in me, thx for the upload man.
Until it Sleeps- Load album from metallica
Still nice reaction
Avenged Sevenfold is a band you would probably like. I recommend Critical Acclaim, Unholy Confessions, Almost Easy and Nightmare..all are 🔥
Id say start with their commercial songs then get to their heavier and faster stuff. To get your ears prepared for Metal lol.
1. Enter Sandman (Live in Moscow
2. Sad but true
3. Fuel
4. The Unforgivern
5. One
