The lock & door handle cable ends are different sizes. They can only fit in their own unique slots

No problem mate!
I found the foam adhesive spray from clark rubber to be a far superior adhesive for this application. Also works great for relining headliners.
Pro tip put foam on fabric before the door plastic.
Door trims have come along way since doing my old Eh & Ej door cards.....in black velvet🤣🤣🤣

If you use the contact adhesive the way it's intended, it will work much better
What did you use to clean off the old foam? They look very clean.

I cant get the inner door handle off!! I've done everything up until that point. The plug for the electric window buttons inside the door trim won't pass through the hole???
What size screws did you end up using?

Was a bit of a rushed job for those holes, a mistake on both our parts 😂

It was the ones we thought were holes for screws. We were just in a rush so did it without double checking 😂

Hi guys was wondering when you took door panel out. What was your insulation cut out condition? Did you reuse it? Or buy new ones? Because I can’t find any Holden parts that sell them? I haven’t taken mine out yet but do you think these cut outs will be reusable? As yours looks new?

What did you guys use to carbon fibre the interior parts
I also just bought the screws you showed at the beginning which were 8G x 15 self tapping screw. But just watch your UA-cam again and at the end you said you changed the screws to longer ones? Does that mean you did not use the original screws you bought and if so what screws did you end up using because I’ll need to return them? HELP
Was a long time ago that we did this but fairly sure we used the self tapping ones and bogged it up with liquid nail to fill the gap? Not 100% sure though...

Where did you get the foam from boys? What is the thickness etc?
It was a while back now mate but from memory it was just the thinnest stuff from spotlight. I'd say maybe 2.5mm thick.
Can get i from Ebey with foam already attached . 3mm thickness.
