So glad to hear! I learned a few things myself when I was creating today's video: ua-cam.com/video/fK1W9JzR5qk/v-deo.html. In fact, it might merit a follow up because there are still a few things to discuss but the video was getting long...
Sometimes I use Padlet as collaborative assignments. I might create a board and have the class add annotative bibliographies to it, or have small groups curate their own content.
Thanks Sean for a great tutorial, the styling of a table and the float picture trick was new to me! How do you create those nice tutorials shown from 8:58 (Canvas Calendar), where the user have to click their way through etc? Discovered your channel yesterday -keep up the great work, I’m already a fan and subscriber 👍😀
You're very welcome! For those tutorials I use a platform called iorad. You can find a collection of tutorials on the webpage www.howtocanvas.com/getting-started.
@@HowToCanvas I have not used Skill share but the quality on Udemy had been great. I bought six courses over the span of a year from Udemy and like how I can swap between course in one place. Also the quality is of content is good on Udemy too. Obviously it's your content so your choice. Will it be strategic to be on both for revenue?
I didn't think it needed that, but if you contact your Canvas admin then they should be able to set that up. I think all institutions should have that set up by default.
I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos, often two or three new things. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise!

Sean, I loved using the About me Padlet. This is a great way to use with the online discussion board introductions in your courses.

Thank you Sean for these great tips. I have a question about the pin icon what is it that it does?
Do you mind giving me a timestamp when you see that icon?

Best Canvas tutorials! Please do a Udemy series for How To Canvas.
I've thought about it. You think Udemy would be a better place than Skillshare?

To add the redirect tool, it says I have to have it installed at the root level. Do you know how to do that? Mine won't work.
