Not receiving the items is not Fraud, friendly or otherwise.
Not receiving the item is legitimate reason for Chargeback.
In corrupt EU country Lithuania there is type 1 shown in this video, no other way to get your money back as banks do not offer any protection.
Not receiving the item is a legitimate reason for a chargeback through a billing dispute, not a fraud claim.
For real lol. That's just plain not giving the customer what they paid for.
I'd say in that case it isn't fraud and they're entitled to a refund.
Ordered and paid for product A from a national big box hardware chain. Shipped was a significantly inferior product D. Classic Bait & Switch. Sent the poor quality product back and was told "7 to 10 business days" for the credit to be reflected on my charge card. 35 business days later no credit. Called the national office and explained my issue and was told the manager of the local store issues the credit(s) and they would contact me within 24 hours to resolve the issue. 7 business days later with no call from the local manager - I contacted my charge card company and sent them all the documentation including proof of returned product.
You betcha the local manager was on the phone within minutes of the charge back, and all sorts of mad! The punch line, the product they shipped me isn't even available or sold by that retailer.
How long does a chargeback take to happen? To retrieve the funds back to your card.

What about when you purchase an item and they sent you something doesn’t work and it’s complete garbage not matching the description on the website you purchased it from. Plus is corroded and rusted. Is that friendly fraud on the part of the consumer?????

So can I do a chargeback on an order I had at a restaurant? I bought like $35 worth of wings to go before I got on the road I'm heading to my job out of town. The wings were raw and im like 40 minutes away and dont feel like driving all the way back for a refund. Will I get approved?

I bought a so called "cuddle clone" and paid £186 + £ 50 Duty from the US ( i am in the UK) in July 22 when i received my Item i was so disappointed the "toy " I received was nothing like my dog at all . I contacted the Company provided pictures of the toy i received and they agreed that " in this case they got it wrong" and they want to re do it again . Because i was so disappointed and lost trust i decided against a remake and ask my money back. Cuddle clone told me they don't do refund !? So i contacted my Credit card and requested a recharge which i received on July 5th . The toy i donated to a charity shop ! I thought it was done and lost £50 Duty i paid. Today 23.09 ( 8 weeks after i got my refund) i received a letter from my credit card telling me that the Company challenged my chargeback and now have to pay again ? I thought the company only have 45 days to challenge ???

Call your credit card company and explain to them what happened and why you don't want to pay for item.

I had this same problem I had $3500 sitting in my account and couldn't get it out I called PayPal they refused helping me. 3 weeks ago a friend introduced me to hackbeign_ on Instagram she said he help get her money out. I tried him he asked few questions and to my surprise I got my money in 24hrs. Try him if PayPal has done same to you. Thank me later.

I hired a P.I. for $750. He charged my credit card $850, more than agreed upon, and he has not returned a single one of my phone calls or responded to my email asking about the overcharge. It's been several days now and I'm wondering if I should contact my credit card company for a charge back, and if so how many days should I wait. I want to resolve the issue with the merchant, but I can't get in contact.
Don't waste your time with this merchant if they fail to respond how do you expect them to do their due diligence when investigating.

What if they file a charge 4 months down the road, does time matter or not.
Chargebacks can be submitted 120 days after the purchase. There are some exclusions such as flights and hotels etc where your paying in advance for a service you will use in the future. But almost all transactions will have a 120 day time limit for a dispute against goods or services or for fraud. Any point of interaction errors such as wrong conversion rate for foreign currency need to be reported in 90 days.

I had a client file a chargeback without ever talking to me. I handed in all my supporting documents and won the chargeback because I upheld my end of the deal. They have now filed a second chargeback for the same transaction and it has gone into pre-arbitration. I have no idea what to do. When I tried talking to the client she just screamed at me and would not let me talk at all. The information she provided to the bank is nothing but lies.... What do I do?

Did you figure out the answer? I did the same with a debit card because the seller kept insisting (dumb on my part) he sent me counterfeit shoes from Hong Kong. He acknowledged that they were poor quality over WhatsApp, but is just giving me the run around for the return. I am going to try to chargeback with my bank tomorrow
