Love the episode as always! I am somewhat surprised to see the love for imperium legends. I somewhat get it - I owned it at one point - but the sheer amount of errata in the early printings was nuts. I don’t know if they’ve fixed that now. It was really surprising for a retail game as usually you see that lack of polish in kickstarter products. Speaking of which, what are the worst offenders for unfinished/lack of polish/unplayable rule books that you have seen? Wild Assent blew my mind with how bad it was. That really made me reassess Board Game Co’s opinions on games as it was truly, truly awful. Black Rose Wars was completely busted too when I played it. Looking forward to more Tanares coverage! I think i’ve decided to sell my copy of Primal. I enjoy it but it’s just too fiddly to solo. I’m rather put time into Marvel Champions, Arkham or something different like Too Many Bones.
The newest Imperium game (Horizons) has a lot of errata as well, which is very annoying. Especially since it was delayed for quite some time. I just love the tableau and deck building of that one. It’s certainly l not for everyone. I don’t have too many rulebook issues. I usually watch a rules video first, then read the book, and then watch a video again. I recall Dawn of the Zeds and Cloudspire really giving me some issues when trying to learn those.
@@brianberger1648Brian!! How in the world did you write about errata, poor rulebooks, and painfully expensive oopsies and not mention D-V-G…? And I REALLY like their games…!
@@timcoles3726 They only have 2 games that they just remake and just reprint the errata so it’s really their own language at this point and not errata.
Tim!
