I remember when I used to be deep in the CS scene when he announced that he was starting up NM and it was pretty hype that he was following a passion of his besides posting CS gameplay.
How did I not know Jericho had a record label, I've been following this dude since like 2015 when he would play with Smii7y. This is actively blowing my mind.
You can really hear the difference in how wide and huge the mixes are. That's what's putting me off producing after I did it for a couple of months.. no matter what I do I can't achieve the same sound
Look up “Jose de le magnifique” it’s a channel dedicated to reposting twitch streams of some of the dopest producers on earth. Watch those every single day. See ya next year
Bro you've only been doing it a couple of months, don't be so hard on yourself. Definitely keep at it man, you'll constantly learn new tricks and improve the more and more you do it. Also worth checking out vids on how to make your mix wider. I can also help you if you ever wanna reach out.
Only a couple months? You gotta keep going, I've been at it for 7 years and every mix I still find something to improve. Just be patient, look up things you don't know or need help with, and your skills will grow over time
Reverb and echo/delay. If your using ableton u can also use utility to spread shit out. Panning on certain elements as well. It’s really simple but you need to practice, or else you won’t understand how to every element is supposed to fit together.
I’ll be honest I’ve known tucker as night mode but I had no clue it was a record label. Also, I’ve been watching both separately for quite awhile but did not know they were tight
TUCKER OWNS A RECORD LABEL?!? Granted I’ve only seen him in smii7y videos but in no amount of guesses in the world would I have guessed he owned a record label gotta check it out I guess
I mean Night Mode is an electronic label and Bishu is most well known for being a producer on Monstercat. So naturally, most of the submissions would be by music producers - not singers. There are plenty musicians with amazing vocals topping the charts still.
people care less about technique and more about feeling and relatibility. theres a reason most pop singers have ghostwriters, its the best of both worlds. music would have stayed in the realm of classical if technique was what made "real music"
@@lanfrey maybe it is time to get back to producers producing and singers handling the singing. I guess many are too young to know a time before auto-tune lol.
@@AlexAlex-qj7of the thing is theres so much variety in the underground, plenty of artists there would probably fit your preference. its not like autotune killed singing
Had no idea Jericho owned Night Mode, this is wild to me
Same. I thought hes only into CS

Take ideas from others, but only EVER compare yourself to yourself. Each song should be better than your last song in your opinion and no one else's

Sad how rare it is to find any singers who do NOT have to rely on auto-tuning nowadays. I guess it is the zoomer way... R.I.P. real music.
