I think we’re friends now. I think the exact same thing. This are really epic movies and even though I think there’s way too much of human presence in some of the movies, the actual transformers action is just way too good, and then you add music like this and it’s just a masterpiece. This have been my favorite movies and I know some people hate the director and he’s killed some great characters in dumb ways (like shockwave) but his love for the explosions help to make this movies excellent, I wish they could continue where they left it in TLK, it would be really good

While yes, they make the movies epic, they (Specifically Bay) are also a key problem in terms of story as well as character writing, with women being a real problem in the movies as they're often sexualized (This is very evident with Mikaela and Carly from the first Trilogy, as well as Tessa.)
i have yet to see any other comments talk about this, but the music in correspondence to the sound design was really well done. it makes me wonder how it was put together. like, did Bay give Jablonsky the film and Jablonsky worked around it, or did they work together? Because... the Dinobots presence on each shot was met usually with banging heavy drums. In the beginning, it was erratic, as Optimus fought Grimlock for leadership. But, as of the moment Optimus stepped on Grimlock's face and gave him an ultimatum, and hence thereafter, the drums have been on point with the Dinobots on the scene. Really love how the scene turned out, music-wise and plot-wise. The trailers built up hype for the Dinobots in the TCU, and them charging down the hill was my particular favorite. The two-headed pterodactyl (surprisingly, the wiki says his name isn't Swoop) flying with their heavy, metal wings was probably a close second favorite scene, if it isn't considered the same one as Optimus gaining leadership.
Yeah, they changed it to Strafe, and Slug's name was originally Slag back then, but it was around that time Hasbro realized it was a rude word in I think somewhere in the UK.
To answer your question about the sound design and the score, they are usually in correspondence with each other. Steve said so in a interview a few years back. He gave an example of the scene from DOTM where the Autobots are being sent away and a helicopter blades are perfectly synched with the music.

The Dinobots help Optimus Prime and the Autobots fight against Galvatron and his evil army of Decepticons. The presence of the Dinobots definitely helps to turn things in the favor of the Autobots. These gigantic creatures are a pure force of nature: vicious, terrifying and definitely beastly. They steal pretty much every scene they are in. And the visuals of Optimus Prime meeting the Dinobots, fighting them, and then leading them into Hong Kong are arguably the best parts of Age of Extinction.
I don't care what anyone says, these Movies were peak Cinema and I'd watch these 24/7 as a little kid, and even now at 14....I will watch them....to remember the precious moments I had with these movies that many Kids from then to now so much better
Apparently both Age of Extinction and Dark of the Moon's Scores had reached the limit of units sold before re-use fees had to be paid, and they had to leave. Jablonsky wasn't happy about it either, back then he hoped the scores can be re-released later.
