As an argentinian, it's incredibly emotional to see all of these young players turning into grown men through the years, seeing them growing beards, getting more experienced, changing their technique and just growing together. Even if this wasn't my country's national team, i would still cheer for them on every match.

If you saw this match live, then you know how thrilling it was. Argentina played a very well game despite missing some of their biggest stars.

@Shen One of the Top 3 best setter currently: Luciano de Cecco (Dream Team in Tokio), one of the best Middle blockers: Sebastian Solé and Facundo Conte, an amazing player. Argentina played against USA in the Tokyo Olympics and won with these players 3-0, they also beat France, disqualified Italy and won the bronze to Brazil
@Shen I think solé retired a few weeks ago, now there is only De Cecco and Conte, but these younger ones are the next generation, so losing/winning against powerful teams like Usa will help them improve and grow as a team.
I think this World Cup will be De Cecco's last too
@Shen He will stop playing for the Argentina national team, but I think he will continue to play at a high level for Italian clubs, such as Civitanova, Perugia, etc.
More than anything because he has his family there, a son was born while he was playing the Olympics and he wants to have time for them

The only thing that's missing for Team USA in this match is their blocking. Good thing they bounced back in their next matches and won bronze. Meanwhile Argentina finished in 5th place.
