The only time where this is necessary is when a venue is too small for the camera to be set high and far enough from the court, but this isn't the case here, you can see that the cameraman zooms into the court. It's been a while since i watched this, but if i remember correctly, he kinda corrects this later in the game. Also, if you watch other matches from the same tournament, you can see that this isn't the case for all of them. For example, the semifinals match between Italy and the US has several rallies in the first set, but the camera doesn't move so erratically, zooming in and out of the court. In several of these matches that I'm talking about, the cameraman zooms into the court to the point 1/4 of it isn't in the shot and then moves the camera from one side to the other. In the match I mentioned above, the cameraman zooms in for the serve and then uses a wider angle for the attacks and rallies, where only miniscule movement is necessary to encompass the whole court. Lastly, this "don't like don't watch" mentality doesn't apply here because I do like the content, I'm simply criticizing the way it was filmed. Criticism isn't an offense, it's just my opinion on how the viewing experience could be improved. Also, these matches might be posted here for free now, but volleyball world actually has a streaming service where you need to pay to watch live coverage of these matches, meaning those who paid for the service would have gotten a subpar experience when it comes to the way this was filmed.
