General Mickie is better than the rest. On your next comparison video you should have your testers chosen from a player select screen.
The finger guard held to the tang by a pin, in the 'pro' model, is the achilles heel. The 'X''s design is much better.

Benben Funk Le manche du x peu se faire remplacer si endommagé, il vient avec un trout de cordon dédié, géométrie moin épaisse derrière la lame, pochette qui retient mieux et moins cher. Aussi le manche est moins confortable,
Just bought the s1x and made my own scales ( wood) as there are no dedicated after market scales for this knife.
LOL! for xmas this made me get the A1x. If the handle scales ever get destroyed, I can get normal replacements, or..... maybe make my own ironwood , g10, micarta, ... whatever I want replacements. That would be super cool. But yeah I don't want to destroy my scales.

You should test the Tops Tom Brown Tracker knife! Supposed to be an awesome survival knife! Would be a great DBK challenger

Do a comparison between the cos steel and the 3g! You've said you'd buy a f1 3g 3 years ago on the f1d video please do a comparison cause i dont really know about the 3g very well
I still like the look of the pro better, but still I been putting off buying one cause I already have a knife went to purchase and found the x now. I wanted to get a custom handle was looking at the northern lights but like the pro metal. I think I’ll go with the x and get some scales

Those two knives compare well. I have not used the Fallkniven, but highly recommend the Bark River. With the Bark River you get your choice of handle material and lifetime warranty with sharpening. You also get subjectively better materials with CPM3V steel and a leather sheath.

I am very curious to see how much of a beast this A1X is. I plan to use it for outdoors especially batoning and chopping while camping when I don't want to bring a hatchet along with a full sized axe. I found the best deal for $275. I only have 2 personal cons to this knife : the goofy looking guard and the end of the tang that is rounded. Other than that, it's a perfect knife visually for me. Only have to see it in person to see the finition and the handle feel and I'd buy it

Aside from the gas jokes I'd be interested in a vs video in cold weather between the x and the Cru-Wear Aura... The Cru is what I use but Im curious.. In February I have a week long ski pulk trip then a 5 day dog sledding trip right after. Last winter I did notice some stuff with Cru. Thanks for another great vid!!

I hate it that Fällkniven increased blade thickness AGAIN on this X blades, and that they did not make a X Series of the full convex F1, instead of the less usefull F1 Pro blade design.
They overbuild it with the X line. There's some advantages to the thicker blades and then there's a lot of disadvantages. Luckily, there's always a very thin Mora for $8.

Yes it's pretty rough. It makes it very good for use with gloves but can be a bit hard to the skin. It'll soften a bit over time though
