Thank you for posting this. I have the NET in my lungs and in the mediastinal lymph node and its metastized to liver and small intestine and pancreatic area .....Stage 4 Grade level 1...K67
@@johnwright7782 the gastrointestinal symptoms I do not suffer with , it’s a daily struggle with the mediastinal area tumors to do anything without tiring or loss of breath. So it’s one day at a time and make the best of my days 😊
All I know it's rare and not much information unless it's been search. I'm on stage 4 , unknown primary it's been more than 4.5 months since I got diagnosed. I have in groin, lungs, pancreas, lymph nodes, abdomen tonsil.
I had Distal pancreatic cancer operation 17 years ago! Tumors in my mouth, thyroid, both lungs, liver, ascending colon, and Anusara! Lot of stomach issues! Lot of meds! Same cancer as Steve Jobs!
I've been recently diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine tumor (NET) G3, based on a biopsy report. The mass is 12.6 x 7.9 x 16.8 cm, located near the pancreas and causing significant impact on surrounding structures. It's been a tough journey, and I’m struggling with the insurance process while trying to figure out the best treatment options. My health condition is serious, and I'm doing my best to stay strong through this.
I have neuroendocrine breast cancer stage 1 but grade 3 poorly differentiated. er+ pr+ her2-. After lumpectomy, they told me they remove all cancer, lymp nodes negative, margins very good. I'm 72 years old all scans (chest/bone/brain) no metastasis. Need to do 4 rounds strong chemo, then 12 weeks less strong chemo, afterwards 3 weeks radiation plus 1 week booster (radiation) and hormones therapy. Oncologist told me that if I don't do any treatments, i have 80% chance of recurrence. Do you think its worth it at my age with all side effects, do I have a chance for survival?

My sincere best wishes and prayers. Please find a specialist centre that is experienced in dealing with NETs.
It might be a silly question, but, how does one impact survival rate if the tumour is removed, it was net g2 in the appendix, stage 3.
I have carcinoid syndrome symptomes everyday now. Wondering if I have a chance as it seems to be really advanced.

@@Wolf_0_0_Doing ok now that i am off the pill form of my chemo and back on the liquid form and lower dose.
I have a NET G1 (rectum) 3 percent and doctor will not treat - just check in 6 months! Ok?😢
How are you doing? I was just diagnosed with a NET in my rectum. Idk the grade or anything else yet but I’m scared 😞
Nets are usually slow growing, but if I were you, I would consider another oncologist or doctor and get a second opinion.
