After searching this web for over an hour to try and hard reset my daughter's tab this was the only thing that gave clear instructions that I could find. Thank you

i have an issue with my samsung tab 4. the notification bar wont come down wen i swipe it down. i restarted it,nothing happened. then i turned it off and then on. nothing happened its still not working.another thing i noticed was the multi task button wasnt working. and this is in a samsung tab 4 so the button is censor and not a solid button. somebody please help what do i do?

i pressed and held PowerButton+ volume DOWN + home button, by accident. and then it said "warning" bla bla bla and then it said press the up key to cancel and now its stuck on odin mode, i dont want to use "odin tool" restore thingy, because it might break my pc also, it probably has a virus on it..
