Omg! Thank you so very much! I can't tell you how many videos I've watched trying to reset my tablet because I simply forgot my lock screen password. I was about ready to trash this thing! Praise you for helping me get my tablet back on track!

This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

Thanks man, I found one of these old pads under some rubble outside in a backyard while bringing things to a junkyard. I cleaned it, charged it, and it still worked. (the rubble protected the pad from the rain so it never got wet) lol Thanks alot. I had to hard reset it as I had no idea what the pasword was. Again thanks alot. The tab still worked! Instead of the volume down as you mention in the video you're pressing the volume up button, then indeed it works propperly.

Hi Taken me some hours to get to this, and thank you for your assistance. When I get to wipe data/factory reset and then use power button, the tablet keeps powering off. I have tried pressing the power button different ways. Is there any other way please?

Yea same with me. Mine keeps looping as well. Found this tip, got to the wipe data/factory reset as well (finally...Samsung did not mention this anywhere??? why?? unowhy) and now I get the same loop but now with the logon sound. Still loops tho even after the hard reset but sound works, lol. Thank you for finding this tip tho. Didnt help me in the long run... from my background... a ram chip went bad I bet.
