Before I had ants, I actually had a large aquarium, almost a ton in size, with different types of beautiful fish. It was incredibly relaxing to watch, but the costs were enormous, especially since I had to replace fish nearly every month, and they weren’t cheap. With ants, it’s a completely different experience! There’s so much more to observe, from their teamwork to their incredible tunnels, and the costs are insignificant compared to maintaining an aquarium. Plus, it turns out I’m not alone in this passion! In England and around the world, there’s a large community of people who keep insects as pets, especially ants.
