Thank you Joy.. Thank you for being such a superfan!!!!! At the same time, no career is a bad career, as long as a person puts enough hard work towards it.
One thing i notice is that, definitely the initial first 5 yrs growth is tremendous but what after 5yrs? What after you become a trainer, your progress plateaus. You would not grow much unlike other professions. Another concern is that it seems like the salaries have been same from a long time. Now a days a lot of SW engineers are earning similar or double of these salaries and yet have a huge growth prospect ahead.
Sure. There are professions and corporate positions across different fields/industries that pay better. No doubt. That said, the percentage of employees that make it to that position in corporate is very small. And yes, after becoming trainer, increment in salaries is not as much. But pilots can always switch to different airplane such as wide body and the allowance is increased. On an average a senior wide body captain earns approximately 10 to 15 lakhs per month gross. After that, there are bonuses but there’s not much increment in the salary. This is not a competition such as aviation vs other fields. You should do what you feel like doing for rest of your life while earning from it. Our choice was flying airplanes. And that’s what we’re doing. We appreciate your comment. Thank you and good luck with whichever field you choose for your career ✨
Hey guys I just watched your video and it was super entertaining and helpful. I'm from canada but born in India and I just finished grade 12 in canada and I'm trying to figure out if I just get a pilots degree/licence in canada or in India. What do you guys think??
🤠 very informative video👏, aspiring pilots can have a clear overview of their career pathway🤗. I got some ideas for your next video 😁. Please make a video on PILOT'S ROASTER📑 in detail ( 1-2 months roaster ) and their LAYOVERS🌍. [Duty time, Flying Hours and Standby period ] Few other topics which you may consider if you are interested : * Pilot's Base Airport ( possibility of getting a preferred AIRPORT BASE ) * Perks and Allowances of an airline pilot * Aviation Industry related topics like how fuel prices effect this industry, effects of Russia-Ukraine war on Aviation, Airline's expansion plans etc * Boeing vs Airbus
Mam why airlines are charging huge airlines preperation fees, example go first charged 75 lakh. Will its going to be change in the coming years. Mam please reply
I understand.. It completely depends on Airline to Airline. But as the competition to recruit pilots amongst airlines increases, some of the airlines might change their training fees structure.
Yes, certain airlines do recruit pilots directly on wide body depending on requirement of Pilots at the time. Possibility of such direct wide body recruitment openings is usually very thin but yes sometime airlines do come up with such openings.
Capt. Neha started taking classes in 2008 and got a job in airline in 2015. In this while she kept her license current and did not have 1900 hours. She had less than 300 hours until 2015. Now Capt. Neha has nearly 5000 hours and is a Captain on Airbus A320.
All of your videos are really informative, everytime I get to learn something new n more , not everyone share information so clearly as u both did Frankly speaking 😅 I didn't know abt the upgrade after becoming a Captain , Usually thought that's the Iast upgrade (Captain) Thanks a lot Sir n Captain
Many.. for sure. Everyone that’s been waiting for past 2 years would’ve applied. We don’t know the exact numbers. It’s internal matter of individual recruiter. We neither have the access to that information nor we have the right to share it.
3 bars / stripes were allotted to the Winged Engineer by the flight school. He is a commercial multi engine commercial pilot. Until the airline decides which epaulettes he should be wearing, he is deserving beholder of these bars / stripes. Good question though. Status of the bars usually changes airline to airline & flight school to flight school. Commercial Pilots usually wear 3 stripes. It's only the Captains, examiners & check instructors who wear 4 bars.

Is it recommended to start pilot training for someone who is 27 years old and earning around 2.5 lakhs per month ?
Are these salaries non taxable 😉?
The answer depends solely on you. If you have the flying bug, and wanna do this, then you can. Salaries are taxable.
