Mindcontrol tech and/or cabal to steal for tempo swing against agro. ooze or harrison to keep weapons down. Wild pyro to deal 1 extra damage to zoo minions. add in some taunt like senjin to keep you alive and elise as late game win condition.

yeah you can add in nzoth to revive tauren and 4 shifting shade (which 2 is from curator) and steal more from their deck with those shade or they may concede already xD

Go look on recent articles on hearthpwn, ben brode the lead designer did a public apology for releasing purify when they didn't realize anduin needed this much help.
He didn't apologize for anything. He admitted they try to make cards that are not OP, and are willing to make cards that are underpowered in order to make fun decks. He also admitted that they do not consider arena with every decision that they make... He explained their process and admitted to a mistake, but Ben didn't apologize (nor does he need to apologize) for anything...... Not that important of a comment, I know, but i just want to clarify b/c no apologies are needed. He puts hard word into this and people shit on him for not approaching every single addition to the game from every single possible angle.

To be fair, I don't think purify was approached with many angles. After releasing firelands portal, arena players were really upset that one of the best arena cards of all time was a common for the best arena class. Then a week later, they release one of the worst arena cards of all time for the worst arena class as a common. So yeah, I would say people definitely had the right to shit on him for that, let alone the constructed state of priest.

Yeah, i was lucky but COMMON, he had all threats out by T12, an amazing curve except for T3 and double challenger follow up. So who was the lucky one again?

I feel like Firebat's content has been greatly improving over the past few months. I'm not saying that his content was bad even to start with, and now it is getting even better. Keep up the great stuff champ!

Shatter now freezes target minion and kills it on the end of your opponents turn if still frozen.
Corruption now lowers the targets attack to 1 ontop of it's old effect.
Sap: Now leaves the minion onboard with new status effect ''sapped'' can not take action until 6 mana has been paid.

This is EXACTLY why people should be happy that priest is so weak right now. Priest just sucks to lose to worse than any other class in the game.
He didn't lose to Priest tho. He lost to Shifting Shade RNG. Being beaten down by rock biter doom hammer is twice as unenjoyable
Losing to deck steal/copy mechanics IS losing to priest, and it's why it feels so shitty to lose to. The value *potential* of priest is almost infinite, but the lose-from-mulligan potential is also super high--that inconsistency is why priest is ultimately bad right now. I dread the day where ladder looks like this game Firebat just played, but all the time.
That "potential" you refer to is called RNG and its present in literally every deck. It feels shitty to go against anything that gets extremely lucky like this specific priest game and has nothing to do with the class itself. Its part of the game; losing all your good minions off brawl feels bad, getting flame jugglered on a 1 health minion feels bad, and getting board wiped by a lightning storm that rolls high feels bad.
The reason Priest why you find priest frustrating is because it has answers to everything. The reason it is bad is because it doesn't have any good questions.

People getting salty about priest stealing cards need to realize priest has to steal good cards cause they have none of their own
I faced a priest with 2 mind controls, 2 entombs, and 1 death. I guess he just takes a bet that he will face strictly control classes, because there is no way that works against aggro.
just add excavated, circle auchenai, cabal, and shadow madness then boom: you control aggro too :)

The only reason why people think Rogue is weak is because Miracle dropped to Tier 3 on the Meta Snapshot. People put way too much stock in that.

Even when you draw your board clears, the opponent just refills their board and you die 2-3 turns later. If you use removal to avoid early damage (in case of no board clears) they pull out one of the game deciding minions (like TB valiant) and you lose the turn after unless you draw an answer.
Priest removal is not up to par because the rest of their cards don't allow them to take advantage of those clears.
I played a priest with the same deck today with my zoolock and he literally drew a perfect game. He aggressively used all his entombs and removal and kept top decking big minions lol and beat me. I wanted to uninstall.

Winrate vs agro is around 40%-ish, so yeah, its bad, but can handle its own.
It has a decent -to- very great winrate vs all other decks thou, with the exception of OTK warrior and Jaraxxus decks.

Lost to a priest that Forbidden Shaping into Tirion, then resurrected exactly Tirion later. I don't feel too bad because it's really quite sad. Priest needs two Tirions to win any games.

If your hero had no 'cap' on health, so it could be healed over 30, Priest would be much better to be honest. Then it isn't punished so hardcore for not sticking plays.
Way to fix priest : you make the hero power heal 4 and the justicar trueheart version cost no mana heal 4, there you go its fixed.

This deck looks neat, I tried a Quantity-Over-Quality N'Zoth deck for a while, but didn't run secrets/challenger.
That is literally every match I play against Priest as Paladin... I don't even know why people say priest is the worst class when Paladin has a bad win ratio against everything especially Priest.
I think there is a major flaw when actually they released a card with the thoughtprocess "now it's kinda bad but in the future it might be good" as this is not a game in beta but already released for a few years and expansions should make the game good right now, not only in the future, especially with the standardformat.
Also, if they should rly make an expansion with like 3 mana 10/10, at the end of next turn you loose, priest would already have 0mana silence for that, which can actually even target an enemy tirion/silv, and strong classic cards can be expected to be played even then. Also that wouldnt even be enough to make priest so extremely powerfull as you still would have to draw this combo, if you only get partialls you have a dead hand and are very likely to loose. Priest does have the tools to be a good control-class in the meta right now, it mostly needs consistency.
Actually Purify could be good even for two mana, if instead of draw a card it would be labeled "is always in start hand" (didnt calculate if that would make mountain giant op if it would be additionally) as then eerie statue / ancient watcher would be consistent, and especially in the case of eerie statue that would very much equal the faceless shambler, without the chance to cheat the overload away.
BTW wild would be rly rly crazy at the point of the 3 mana 10/10 with the wailing soul, purify wouldnt be too much of a concern there i guess.

nothing more painful than playing paladin against a priest. before the video even began i already knew: entomb sylvanas, thoughtsteal tirion, mind control tirion. apparently if the meta ever becomes saturated with control priests, you should tech your deck against priest by only using truly awful, absolute garbage minions.
whenever i watch your videos in the background I get ridiculous winrates (80%~) and am currently rank 9

ive been playing priest since the expan started.... idk why everyone complains about them so much, they are actually really strong if the early game can be overcome. Yall just playing it wrong. I didnt even play priest till now
that specific situation that needs to happen every game just so you don't get completely overwhelmed? in two turns they have a board again and if you cant control it you lose, and i'm pretty sure you're not as good as Amaz, Zetalot, and Kibler since they've been playing priest since HS beta

You've just been getting lucky hands. The problem with Priest is consistency more than anything. If Priest could always curve out Holy Shit would Dragon Priest be insane against aggro and N'Zoth Priest insane against control.
ive played thousands of games at this point, and I know whats luck based and whats not. Doing well with my deck isnt luck, I move the cards around to fit whatever situation I need. Against heavy aggro theres some pretty good cards to stop that. The luck from that point is just drawing what you need. Most of the time early game doomsayer and aoe removal turn 4/5
